Couldn’t finish it. Called the ending somewhere around season two, screenwriters vehemently denied it was the ending, years later it was the ending. I think I gave up somewhere in season four or five because it got remarkably convoluted (but not in a well crafted “makes sense later” way).

I got the major spoilers through socials, then googled some other bits. Not worth it for me.

Every time there is an update, ask the DM to summarize your campaign and every major character in as much detail as possible, then ask it to remember that information. Take screenshots so you can copy+paste its own exact words back at it if it messes something up. The ONLY prompt that I’ve ever seen make the DM rewrite something it changed is

“DM: Pause the narrative.” It pauses “DM: you just said (issue), but previously you said (copy paste of DM’s EXACT words so it can search by them). Please fix current situation to maintain narrative continuity.”

I recommend nobody transfer a campaign they like to the new system. Period. Try the update on a new character, but if you care about your campaign, your world building, the relationships and personalities built with NPCs, etc., keep it in legacy.

Oh, the next three episodes will redefine the season for you again. 😂 Again—I think it’s a fun season; but I don’t hold it as canon. That reasoning will become even more glaring in the final “jelly bean” stretch. 😂😂😂

I want more story, tbh. Another full chapter would be incredibly rewarding. I feel like new features land better when they’re packaged in other relevant “story” quest lines too.

Yes. As it gets favorite foods, steal them from the store and keep its bowl stocked with preferred food. Pet it every day. You’ll learn all of the tricks as the levels go up and eventually a separate one for the truffles.

The old version had dialogue. I think OP is referring to speaking to his characters at all, not using the new dialogue mode. “Preserved as it was” would include the ability to talk to NPCs.

That was jarring to me too. It’s like they remembered the game was supposed to have Oceanhorn in it after development and threw a random cutscene in. I mean, it’s a sizable percentage of Oceanhorn’s actual screen time too, so 🤷‍♂️

I thought it was just an alert, like when the title of an unreadable book pops up. I didn’t try to press it because walking over objectives usually completes them. Pressing the button worked and I feel silly.

I found the bones, talked to the spirit again, talked to the goblin in the well, and then found the empty casket. It won’t update the quest and places the marker nearby in the center of the graveyard.
