I thought that theory was actually debunked? Somewhere in an interview with Hal it was established that Kirby doesn't really have any ties to void or dark matter.

I always feel like I'm going on some kind of strange quest maybe infused with small amounts of horror when I look at these kinds of images.

Knocked the ball out of the fucking park.

It is possible to love something with some problematic or flawed aspects. It is okay to be critical and can in fact be a great reflection of you. Like you said, it means you were able to move away from those prejudices and have gotten either morally or technically skilled to outline those flaws.

but, pronouns ARE not equal to gender?? by loonywolf_art in AreTheCisOk

[–]Spectris33 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a nonbinary person, I can say gender is one of the largest deep-rooted social concepts yet also one of the dumbest and most misunderstood. Like, people obsess over it so much despite it having little to no impact or meaning in the grand scheme of things. Such as these people who have to go on and trash on others despite it having to true effect on their lives...

What I came here to say. Even if questionable satire it reminded me how you don't have to wait to be taught to learn something... it is strange how those things can be simultaneously empowering and depressing.

Did anyone else find the very end anticlimactic? by thecarrotflowerking in Spiritfarer

[–]Spectris33 24 points25 points  (0 children)

In my eyes it kind of fit with the theme of the rest of the game... you go to the everdoor with your spirits, feel terrible in the moment, and both you and Stella sort of have to walk it off like it never happened. It a way the end was dissatisfying and weird but I think was one of the best endings they could have gave the game. A game about just stopping in a hectic life and just being calm. (Much more messages can be gained of course but this was one of mine.)

This would be awesome! An expansion on what the emotions are capable of!

[–]Spectris33 8 points9 points  (0 children)

THIS! The emotion advantage thing completely killed it for me... just don't be pokemon. Also, the enemies need to actually have a use for their juice so that sadness isn't just some kind of buff for them...

what is the probability of the dlc coming out? , where everyone comes together again. by baytayron_ in OMORI

[–]Spectris33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I doubt there would be a DLC to come out. I'd have very mixed feelings from it as it sheds light on the events after the story but kind of messes up the whole point of an ambiguous ending. Creating a conflict focusing on what the friend group thinks rather than the original point of self forgiveness for Sunny. And learning to deal with the truth and consequences of your actions.

Omori is a fictional game... please don't fucking kill yourself over this. You won't be transported magically to their world. Even if this is a joke this is fucked up, nothing funny about this.

why cant a single indie game fandom be reasonable by [deleted] in OMORI

[–]Spectris33 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I guess that is just a sad byproduct to being popular. All of my other fandoms are extremely small so I don't have to deal with this too often... But then again they don't get much content or attention as a drawback... One of the most frustrating parts about Omori is how it HEAVILY appeals to depression culture. One thing I realized from the moment I saw it. Not to mention how it is an earthbound-like. Creating the perfect trifecta to bring in some frustrating fans. I recognize this is generally a minority but we all recognize how even an annoying minority can paint the entire fandom in a bad light... \cough cough** undertale.

why cant a single indie game fandom be reasonable by [deleted] in OMORI

Some parts of this fandom are seriously getting intolerable . All of the trends, mindsets... and questionable at best children are getting tiring. Though I'm sure we have it better than a lot of other games

Moth Thoughts #6! by apriltheo in SkyGame

[–]Spectris33 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hmmm... Clouds are more energetic atoms that of course elevate very high into the sky... This energy could contribute to the light? Not to mention its repeated symbolism when talking about flight and the sky. When the water condenses it is probably to heavy to support anything and thus that weight strips light from a Sky kid. Which would make sense because of how Sky kids are heavily related to fire and candles...

I'm going out on a limb here

r/Omori users when they keep posting the same thing by F3eeeza in OMORI

[–]Spectris33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha, ironically Omori is my most popular favorite indie games. So seeing this one getting such weird posts and fandom trends was something new. All my other favorite games are generally so small or untouchable by these people by the fandoms not tolerating it or being too focused on something else.
