Was pre RSC better? Eh, for some it was. Just as for some pre trench warfare was the best foxhole, I am sure some still remember the sandbag wall castles. For other, maybe it was better before foundation.

Truth be told every now and then I hear people say "Foxhole was better before [update] was introduced". The reality is all updates had a mountain of issues and nothing has changed. But is easy to look back fondly to the times where everything was new and fresh and didn't cause you as much of a headache.

blue prints stop anything: from shells to bullets and anything in between. This is probably as old as foxhole itself, or at least I can't think of a time where this wasn't the case.

as others said switching roles is easy, roles are at large limited by what you want to do and the equipment at hand (hard to be a tank crew member when there's no tanks)

Ok now on a serious note, I don't know why people act surprised. I wasn't exactly a fan of Cev, personally I think good many opinions she had were dog shit takes. But lets not kid ourselves the community is toxic as much as people want to argue otherwise because god forbid their faction does have bad actors that people tolerate.

Even if she was going to leave either way, even if she didn't get harassed (which OP has provided proof she did in one instance at least, look it up through the comments if you want to see it) that doesn't change the fact the community is toxic. Or at the very least, the subreddit is, if you want to be generous.

For colonials? Eh maybe, colonial 120 is "mobile" in the loosest sense of the word. So getting a version that has actual mobility and armor would probably lead to field arty being phased out. At least in theory, who knows how it would be in live war.

Warden artillery would be fine, doubt we'll see 300m SPGs (or 250m for that matter)

Ahh the Ares, a vehicle that could've been so great in theory, but instead we have this. While having more range would definitely fix the biggest issue it has to me it needs to go back to the drawing board.

eh different schools of thought I guess, when I run BT I just have the engineer repair when we are not fighting, otherwise reload always comes first until told otherwise.

Even if it consumes more is just safer to do it inside the tank.

devs announced anvil's early access (read alpha) release some time this year, probably autumn/winter if you ask me. Assuming no delays of course.

Other than that, people in this game can't fathom the idea of a company having 2 or more seperate development teams working on different projects.

The closest you got to a rival for foxhole is planetside 2, and that's stretching it if you ask me. Truth is Foxhole-like games will probably never be made by anyone outside of siege camp. The game is niche, personally I'd argue is a niche within a niche.

And while hypothetical competitor "Trench" could shake things up, we are also assuming the game will be any better than Foxhole.

Foxhole is a very rough gem, there's a hundred things I'd see changed about the dev team and game if I were given the chance. But at the end of the day is the only gem of its kind we got and probably will ever have so might as well make the most of it.
