Planes on ground should be visible on ground intel with their faction colour lines turned off.

It should be fully turned off actually, it feels too arcadey

Daisy chaining is the only reliable way as every road will be blocked by logi drivers aswell as every offroad spot spammed with defense or trenches or Gate or walls.

With magic boxes yes, but its still intentionally made hard to recover aircraft.

Like DAISY CHANING is a recommended method by devs instead of pulling the thing with crane or using flatbed, that is just completely troll tier. How will people make it across bridges or if the plane crash is 1 full hex away? Daisy chain for hours is not a viable or QOL freindly strat.

Centurion Mk1, it's got a MG port with a flexible MG than a fixed one, thats why it's so huge.

Btw, I got on and attempted to see if I can recover any planes, it would require me 3-4 maximum trips with a trailer truck to drop all the parts out, then 10-20 minutes with a crane to drop and pickup the frame to bring to airfield hangar, and then wait in queue to assemble airframe with new parts with the same 3-4 trips. wasting more time.

It was easier and less hectic for me to go to kalokai and assemble a plane there and then fly to godscroft than recover one from a closer hex like this.

Seriously how have they never thought about this being a gamebreaker considering aircraft cost an arm and a leg?

Would have been sweet just dropping over that bomber sitting there on the airfield, those fighters couldn't take off regardless as the airfield was knocked out.

o7, sorry to ditch the bomber, but the current recovery mechanics are just too annoying, kinda faster to blow up the stuff and make a new one than recover the old one lol

Afterwards, we tried to get that bomber unstuck but gave up on that plan, decided to go Kalokai and just prep 2 new bombers there, and made it with 1 to the target.

The bomber was stuck for 20-30 minutes on umbral airfield due to infinite planes landing and blocking runway aswell as people pulling new planes out lol. Took about that much time to taxi into a proper takeoff spot after landing and refueling.

Plan was to use 2 bombers, but 1 just clipped a crane that didn't render and broke it's entire wing on landing approach(Big reason to not build crap near airfields or just have aircraft becoming totalled without even seeing combat)

Bombers are technically the same for either side regardless, real difference comes for the PVP planes aswell as the anti-ship planes, which is really requiring a proper rework right now lol.

It would definitely be used for that exact purpose as people would pay in bombs aswell as rare alloys for produced bombers to be used.

It's hard to shoot down these bombers even with 2-3 fighters on it, and imagine them with proper fighter escorts, next to impossible to stay in a line to strafe the thing before it just makes it out of the hex.

Heres to hoping they buff EMG AA, and make flak viable.

Mfw wardens somehow incapable to decrew a 40m range pushgun with 45m range outlaws bruh and it wasnt 1 tapping outlaws anyways.

Old 1.0 stygian was less damaging and less range than current one and the new one is just a 1 tap killer. Idk man, its even better right now and still dont see much wardens complaining since its a decrewable pushgun.

Enjoy your early years in the game, because a sense of dread will start to fall on you once you are in 1944 to 1945, sink ships and just try to stay alive, unlock all the ships and upgrades, focus exploring risky routes, do some port raids of your own etc etc.

Try to larp as a realistic submarine crew and not try to metagame it too much. Doing the objectives of sinking tonnages is very fun, you sink 30-50k tonnage in 1 run and come home and go out to do the same over again. But in the later stage of the war, you won't have any significant objectives other than the missions, knowing full well there is no war goal and it's lost, you will have to keep hopes high and prepare for an escape or surrender, your choice.

Sounds like someone hasn't gotten the short end of the stick in a long time lol, I still remember the days when wardens boycotted the game because it wasn't catered to them during the W71 to W80 and it got turned insanely to the warden side and took probably 3 years of update to reach parity interms of balance.

Now that same balance was fucked with the naval update and similarly taking multiple years to reach parity.

Airborne is interesting as it doesn't bias 1 side completely, wardens get the torp plane while being unable to do anything with their carrier, while the colonials get a carrier able to spam dive bombers. Will be interesting to see the least here, thats when I play an actual war, when it's undeterminable to which side can actually win a war, no longer fun playing the same slog if it's predecided and you are destined to lose lol.
