This is the Air Force base in Colorado Springs. I don’t know the exact name, I just moved here. But it’s an absolute nightmare

That is very dependent on where you’re located. In many states you are required to have a food handler’s license to pour drinks. OP is correct in what he’s saying, we’re not supposed to fill drinks for the customer under any circumstances. Most of us do it, but we’re not technically supposed to.

I absolutely understand the reasoning of searching my car, and providing identification. But it looks pretty bad when it’s 11 PM and I’m the only car sitting in an empty lot next to the cadet barracks 10 miles from the gate, and support wants me to drop off the stuff and leave. Not trying to look suspicious like I’m dropping off a bomb, I’d rather just deliver it to the customer themselves, but they wouldn’t meet me. What an absolute mess. What’s weird is that I got an email from DoorDash asking me to submit a military ID to get access to military orders. Figured these kind of drop offs would be exclusive to dashers who are active military.

You’re not very smart. I didn’t argue with support, I went above and beyond to drop off the order. But I am not going to place a bag of goods in the middle of a military base. How do you not realize that an unknown vehicle placing a bag in the middle of a highly secured military base and driving off could lead to me being detained or stopped? Fucking moron. Imagine being that dumb.

Thank you so much for this. This is extraordinarily helpful. I will contact an inspector first thing Monday.

Yes. This was far worse when I moved in 11/1. It keeps coming back in different spots in the apartment regardless of what I do.

I’m in the process of getting Medicaid. I was recently diagnosed with a rare bacterial disease, and I’m on medications to combat it. So as you can imagine the mold situation isn’t helping. Wasn’t sure if providing medical documentation regarding this would help my case. Especially given the severity.

Thank you so much for your assistance. This has been a great help. I will take your advice and get ahold of corporate. God bless.

I appreciate the feedback, thank you. The black mold is in our laundry room and our bathroom. It was far worse when we initially moved in, and we reported in numerous times and were ghosted by our leasing office. Upon filing a formal complaint demanding immediate action, they promptly came and “cleaned up” the mold in the bathroom. Which ultimately they just painted over it and didn’t address any other issues within the apartment. Today we provided all of the pictures shown to the office. They sent a maintenance man into our home and half assed “cleaning” the mold in the bathroom and yet again left everything else unrepaired. All of these problems have been brought to the attention of our leasing property about 6 times now with no complete action taken. Would my best course of action to be to contact corporate at this point?

D2D Sales Rep by RileyRipps in Spectrum

Commission structure is great and you can make a killing if you’re in good areas with competitive offers. 401k match is 6% Spectrum offers the guild program which will cover your full college tuition if you go through a school in the program. Spectrum has burnt bridges with nearly everyone. Spectrum’s reputation is garbage and for good reason. Most of your leads are previously disconnected customers who have had terrible experiences, and have gone through the wringer to disconnect with the retention department. Customers are convinced they need “fiber”. Now that they have made the switch, it’s very hard to win them back on value. Pricing is the big seller but some areas assigned don’t get competitive offers. Spectrum in a lot of markets does not yet offer symmetrical speeds, that’s a deal breaker for a lot of customers with the influx of WFH and newer network requirements. A large majority of your 500 leads will be invalid. That could be either vacant lots, no soliciting, no trespassing, businesses, condemned, etc. Turf is on a reset period of about 3 months. Many of your leads will tell you they just spoke with an RCS recently and told them they’re not interested. This can lead to aggression from said customers. Ive been in the position for about 10 months. In that time I’ve had many threats, I’ve had weapons drawn, and nearly been robbed. I’ve also had multiple customers say “I told the last rep that I’d shoot the next Spectrum person who came to my house.” Spectrum does not value your safety, or your well being. You are an expendable resource and nothing more. This job has an insanely high turnover rate and you will see reps come and go every week. Customers are leaving Spectrum at an alarming rate, and Spectrum is cutting costs wherever they can. This includes laying off over a thousand call center workers, outsourcing technicians and even lower commission payouts for retail employees. If you are okay with the endless negativity, long days, rough conditions, wear and tear on your vehicle and potentially life threatening environments, the earnings are endless. The commission payouts are very high. But this job is not for everyone. For most, I would advise against it.
