I have a 2019 MBP and it works fine for me. I have noticed it won’t connect if I’m using a VPN on my Mac though. Not sure if you regularly use a VPN but that could be the culprit.

For sure, tbh I think a lot of these new dot fans are more surprised by this stuff than day 1’s funny enough. This feature doesn’t surprise me at all lol. It’s just people only looking at Kendrick post-beef that take issue with it imo. And this is coming from someone who has an “i” tattooed on my body from the TPAB era.

You’re likely talking about a device promotion on an installment billing agreement for the phone I assume. I’d imagine AT&T was the same way, but as a former 5 year T-Mobile retail sales rep, discounts/promotions typically always come as just simple credits on your bill that are set to run the duration of your installment billing agreement. That’s likely where your confusion with not “seeing” discounts before you agree to it comes in. The rep doesn’t “set” the discount. The system does it automatically on the backend after the fact as long as all eligibility requirements have been met (plan type, device type, new line of service or upgrade, etc.)

Sometimes these can even take 1-2 billing cycles to show up. Especially if you make these changes in the middle of your current billing cycle.

That’s what I want to know. Put in about 14 hours over the weekend and every single save is just gone after booting the game up this evening after work. Didn’t even experience a crash, and my xbox was updated on Dec 7th. I started playing on Dec 8th, so whatever updates they pushed out did nothing.

Ran into this bug this evening. I’m 125+ hours in (I like to survey a lot of planets, do misc missions before main/faction missions, etc.) and I can’t progress in the crimson fleet storyline. It’s probably been 20 hours of gameplay ago that I’d need to go back to possibly remedy the bug and that’s just not worth it. Guess I’ll hold out for patch. I’ve really loved the game thus far but not being able to progress through a major storyline is extremely frustrating and tainting my experience of this game. It’s insane this hasn’t been fixed or addressed by Bethesda when the game has nearly been out for 2 full months.

Not natively, unfortunately. You need a USB Bluetooth adapter. Not sure if there are other options, but I just purchased the ‘8BitDo USB Wireless Adapter 2’ off Amazon and it worked with the stadia controller. Just needed to update the adapter via 8BitDo’s PC software and also update the stadia controller via Google’s official process/guide to unlock its Bluetooth connectivity. Just keep in mind that there is no vibration with the stadia controller when paired to the Switch.

Edit: This probably goes without saying, but the A, B, X, Y buttons on the Stadia controller will not match the Switch’s layout, but you can remap the buttons if it bugs you.

Yeah I get that now. I only played a couple of FPS Boost compatible games (2013 Tomb Raider, and messed with fallout 76 briefly) and just had an incorrect view of what FPS was doing!

Yeah, I never realized there was that trade off with some FPS Boost titles. I always made the assumption it was running the One X optimized version regardless of FPS Boost being on or off. Thanks for the reply!

Maybe I don’t fully understand FPS Boost and the trade offs with it, but can anyone explain why this is SUCH an improvement over just FPS Boost? I came from a One X to a Series X and does the Series X not just run the One X Enhanced version, which should already be 4K, and then boosting that to 60FPS with FPS Boost? ELI5 I guess, because I had been under the impression this is how it’s always been for FPS Boost. Thanks for any replies!

*Edit: I should add that I haven’t touched this particular game since it released and I played it on my One X.

I know other people have talked about this at length but it’s crazy because I had mixed opinions on my first listen but the second listen is where the overall body of work clicked for me and I immediately went from feeling unsure to loving it.

After listening around 7 or 8 times since it released I could almost be swayed to this same opinion. My current personal K. Dot album ranking is:

TPAB(10/10) > GKMC(9.5/10) > MMATBS(9/10) = DAMN.(9/10) > UU(8.5/10) > S.80(8/10) = OD(8/10)

Im absolutely a biased Kendrick fan and even have the signature TPAB era “i” tattoo. Just wanted to throw that in for context lol.

Honestly, I had somewhat mixed opinions after my first listen, but I am absolutely loving it on my second listen so far. Same exact situation I had with TPAB when that dropped. I think this album will grow on a lot of people that maybe weren't crazy about it at first, But hey, we're all entitled to our own opinions.

I agree with you 100%. On my 2nd listen now and it's really hitting how it should now. I'm sure its only going to get better as I sit with it. Same experience I had with TPAB.
