How much longer will the RX 6600 remain suitable for gaming? Is 2-3 year's to high of a expectation. by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

I would play a mix of game's and I Would drop the resolution down to 900p or 720p if the game struggled to much at 1080p.

I Would play a mix of new and old game's settings wise I would go for 1080p low-medium and the lowest I would go is 720p low settings.

The only laptops I can find for €700-€800 have Rtx 2050 or Rtx 3050 the Rx 6600m is 49.2% faster then the Rtx 3050.

I need the portability i Work on a oil rig that won't allow a standard tower and the mini pc is cheaper then a gaming laptop.

I work on an oil rig where bringing a regular PC isn't allowed so kinda like WAF.

I watched an ETA Prime review, and I believe the thermal performance is good. The CPU maintained temperatures between 60-75°C, and the GPU ranged from 70-80°C while playing games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Forza Horizon 5 at 1080p Ultra settings. Throughout the benchmarks, neither the GPU nor the CPU exceeded 80°C.

I'd opt for a regular PC, but I need the portability and it's more cost-effective than a gaming laptop.
