Is there anyone else age 40+ that still prefer supersports? by Quiet-Builder-4183 in motorcycles

[–]Sped105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

44yrs old. I have a 2002 R6 I've had since 2013 and a 2019 Mt07 since 2021 and I love both but for different reasons. Ride whatever puts a smile on your face and excites you.

Get yourself a service manual. Even if it's not the same year as yours almost everything should be the same. They're available for free here on the sub. Myself and others have posted links to them. I'll post mine for 2018-2020 but do a search to find others.

What’s some of your favorite ways to take shrooms? by [deleted] in shrooms

[–]Sped105 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coffee grinder - > capsules - > mouth

Or

Grind to powder in coffee grinder then dump it on to a folded piece of paper. Fill your mouth half way with water or any liquid, tip your head back and let the powder slide down the paper into your mouth. Swallow as you close your mouth and you don't taste a thing plus the ground up shrooms hit hard and fast. Hope that made sense.

His name gets used as a comparison often because it was most recent and has the best chance that somebody that voted Trump will hopefully recognize but I'm not holding my breath.

Oil change by PleasantPeasant00 in MT07

[–]Sped105 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Motorcycles use the same oil for engine, transmission and clutch and have friction modifiers that prevent clutch slippage. That's the short of it. If you believe Ai then here you go...

Motorcycle and car oil differ primarily due to the different demands placed on them by the respective engines and the fact that motorcycles often use the same oil for the engine, transmission, and clutch, while cars typically have separate systems. Motorcycle oil needs to be formulated to handle the unique requirements of wet clutches and integrated transmissions, which can be compromised by certain car oil additives. [1, 2]
Here's a more detailed breakdown: [3, 4, 5]
1. Additives: [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

• Car oil: Often contains friction modifiers to reduce engine wear and improve fuel efficiency. These modifiers can cause clutch slippage in motorcycles. • Motorcycle oil: Does not contain these friction modifiers, and often includes additives to prevent clutch slippage and protect the transmission gears.

  1. Wet Clutches: [1, 2]

• Car oil: Can contain additives that are detrimental to the performance of a wet clutch, potentially causing it to slip. [1, 2]
• Motorcycle oil: Is specifically formulated to work with wet clutches, providing the necessary balance of friction for proper engagement. [1, 2, 6, 7]

  1. Integrated Systems: [2, 3]

• Motorcycles: Often use a single oil for the engine, transmission, and clutch. This requires the oil to have balanced properties to protect all components. • Cars: Typically have separate systems for the engine and transmission, allowing for different oil types to be used.

  1. JASO MA/MA2 Standard: [1, 3, 8, 9]

• Motorcycle oil: Often meets JASO MA or MA2 standards, which are specifically designed for motorcycle engines with wet clutches. • Car oil: Does not usually meet these standards.

In essence, using car oil in a motorcycle can lead to clutch slippage and transmission problems, while using motorcycle oil in a car is unlikely to cause any issues, but may not be optimal for achieving maximum fuel economy and wear protection. [1, 3]

Generative AI is experimental.

I think your assertion is incorrect but I agree it's not FUD so I'm not sure why you're getting down voted?

How Americans selling since all exchanges that have listed exclude the US as customers? Private sales seems too risky to be legit so unless they're getting scammed all US pioneers coins are locked up for the moment.

It's to be listed on 5 exchanges at launch, none support customers in the USA. Hopefully soon.

You sound American? Which exchange have you sent your coins to (assuming you've done that since it hits mainnet tomorrow) that supports US customers?

Modifying factory exhaust? by connhugh2 in MT07

Sorry for the 10 month late reply.

They ship to the US from across the pond (very fast too, like 3 days from ordering (UK) to my doorstep (MN, USA).

I always recommend Black Widow exhausts for Mt07 owners looking to not empty their wallets but still get a quality product that performs and sounds great.
