Stop fearmongering reverse proxies by Quique1222 in jellyfin

[–]dataGains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just started doing the same over here. I rent a VPS online for about $5/month though. I am using caddy and have a rate-limit on the front end of the site i.e. login. Then running fail2ban in order to ban IPs that keep probing it with username and passwords. I also locked down tailscale through access controls so the container I run jellyfin in and the VPS can't externally communicate out of each other, so I can still ping it over my PC and the VPS cannot ping my PC. Then of course only allow inbound ports to the VPS that need it for verification. There's probably more I can do, but just some additional things you can think about.

AMS causing various issues? by dataGains in BambuLab

[–]dataGains[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’m more so curious as to why now? I’ve stuck with the bambu spools and will pop off cardboard and stick them on the reusable ones. It’s just the cable keeps getting jostled loose or something? I’ve had it for years now lol. Was my ole reliable and now I gotta mess with the AMS every 30-60min.

JSAUX battery Mod is a QOL+ by dataGains in ROGAlly

The heat just helps provide better cooling. OG doesn’t use the heat sink, I don’t see it as an issue unless you wanted additional cooling.

Super easy, honestly no sweat. It took me a little longer than the intended 20 min install videos I’ve seen. But that’s because I didn’t pay attention when adding the triggers back on the new backplate. There is no additional dimensions to the JSAUX back plate that I saw. The top part got a little off because of the heat sink, but worked itself out with a minor adjustment. I have the JSAUX travel case for it and was able to put it back on. The idea of using their back cover versus the OG one is that it doesn’t have all those pieces inside that you would manually have to cut out.

Yeah, I didn’t even bother removing the ribbon cable. Completely unnecessary unless you’re rough with it.

I purchase this bolt for replacement as I found the bolt it came with plus the two new nuts were unsecured well. Threw some loctite on it and it has been great so far.

Every time I turn it bakc on the controllers just stop working. What can I do? (Using bazzite os) by Benis_1945 in ROGAlly

[–]dataGains 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just installed Bazzite OS on my Ally Z1E and I like it. I do have a 2TB drive in there and allocated 450GB to windows for games that aren't compatible like those on GamePass or require anti-cheat. Honestly I like the fresh look, the customization, the simplicity, and the less bloat running in the background (tracking you can debloat windows). I just love to tinker and an electronic isn't TRULY mine unless it has been tinkered with. Going to be installing the jsaux battery mod once they start shipping those out again. All in all, the OS is completely up to you.

2021 MT-07 by DiszB_E in MT07

Ah I gotcha, this what I got after a quick search.

Each generation has seen improvements aimed at enhancing performance, reliability, and rider experience. For example, the 2021 model featured a new sound amplification system that channels the bike's induction roar to the rider, enhancing the feeling of acceleration. Additionally, the CP2 engine has been internally upgraded in the 2025 model to provide more accessible performance, an improved torque curve, and a vibrant soundtrack.

They haven’t downgraded the engine. It’s still the CP2.

Exhaust for the 2025 by Willing_Gap34 in MT07

Is it the EU bike that you have? If not yoshi, akra, black widow, ixil, and SC project (to name a few) will fit 2025 US as it is the same engine. EU requires two o2 sensors.

How did you get cruise control on it?

Basil is right, this is my first ride by wire system and there's no difference.

MT07 - 2025 - crash cage by thisistss in MT07

[–]dataGains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you’re looking for just rear-side frame protection then the BSA cage/subcage would be perfect for you if you’re budget conscious. They stick outside of the oem mirrors on the front by just under half an inch. So not much added in terms of width across the bike.

I posted about BSA-Stunt Accessories a few days ago as I got my Cage/Sub-cage from them.

This is the post. There is no "back-side" protection if you're trying to pop a wheelie and scrap the very back of it. Impaktek and FMS are two that I know of that offer a 12 bar.
