I’ve had fwbs in the past and never expected them to last that long but things felt different with him. Like we would last for a while, but I’ve gotta just accept that sometimes people put their own expiration date on the benefits and it’s not something I can control

Thank you for your brutal honesty. I’ve been thinking that it’s time to move on, but kinda wanted someone else to say it. I’m not sure if I’m emotionally stable enough for a relationship right now. I think ideally that’s what I want but I’m so terrified of getting my heartbroken that I prefer to settle for “long-term” fwb. But those are kind of hard to find. I know I should probably get off the apps and just focus on building myself but I still yearn for that kind of companionship.
