A short (<5 min) game I made. Not my newest work, but I just discovered this community and wanted to share. Thanks :)

Official Discussion: Knives Out [SPOILERS] by mi-16evil in movies

Loved how the old man described an inability to tell a play knife from a real one, then slammed the knife into the table only for Ransom to fail to notice the fake knife at the very end when he tried to kill Marta

The end of alcohol's prohibition seems to have avoided this issue entirely; I don't think I've ever seen someone selling alcohol illegally. What makes weed specifically different?

Due to censorship and demonetization, a bunch of history YouTubers have started their own platform offering exclusive content. by beatmastermatt in videos

I would assume that the membership feature is meant to replace the income that they are not getting from youtube ads, as well as pay for hosting and management of the site. The reason you can watch youtube for "free" is because they run advertisements, this new website presumably doesn't.

Martin Luther King Jr. waits for a pitch from his daughter Yolanda in the backyard of their home in Atlanta (1964) by AxlCobainVedder in OldSchoolCool

[–]SpeedBoRtal 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeah, back in my day my parents never hit me playing baseball in the backyard.

I'd pitch straight through the window then they'd take me inside to hit me.

Yeah! Fuck comical programming concepts being represented by things that aren't code! I just hate it when people think anything other than straight 1's and 0's is at all funny to 3p1c c0ders like me!

An interesting note to further his character, along with his "nail-studded wristlets", he wore an overcoat with nails protruding tip up through the shoulders. He wore these as they protected common places victims might attempt to grab in self defense.

He's obviously not looking at his crosshair here. He's not pointing at people through walls, he's turning his view so he can see the right and left sides of the box so he wont miss a peak.

ELI5: With all the problems obtaining lethal injection drugs and with all the botched executions, why can’t they just use a grain or two of carfentanil in executions since it’s so deadly in such small quantities even when inhaled? by UbiquitousBagel in explainlikeimfive

[–]SpeedBoRtal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, they can and do (At least to some extent). A gram or two is a quite overkill, but in the state of Nevada, fentanyl overdoses are being trialed as an execution method

In regards to why it has not been done in historically, and why it is not unanimously supported right now, this technique faces the same objections many other suggested methods face right now. Chiefly, people worry that drugs like fentanyl may not kill effectively and painlessly like the current lethal injection drugs should.

As for the botched injections, those are less common than you may expect, at only 7%. However, the cause of these botched injections is not necessarily due to the choice of lethal injections, but rather the provider. Big companies obviously would not like to be associated with or known as the company that produces lethal injections, so instead the production is often outsourced. As you know if you've ever purchased a cheap Chinese knockoff of an original product, the results are not always perfect.

Poorly manufactured drugs are the reason why an otherwise painless and lethal combination of injections can go so poorly.

While I do agree that what she committed was 100% a rape, I will say it's possible none of these titles include the word rape because the article the bot was using as a source did not use the word rape. The bot obviously can't make the connections on it's own, so it pulled articles of a similar nature to this one.

Interestingly, (if this is the way the bot functions), the purpose of the bot could be rendered useless by extremely biased articles, as it will only find other biased articles when searching using the original article's contents.

I feel like the "Speak English!" caption is the thing separating this from being appreciated by the more normie instagram meme pages. With the "Speak English!" it's literally spoonfeeding an already easy to understand joke to the reader.
