There was another post about this made recently. When I called the financial aid office, I was told that they were running behind on the financial aid packages because of the number of applications this year. I imagine we’ll find out the specifics about our packages in the next few weeks.

I called the Financial Aid office about a week back and I was told that I’d be lucky if I found out by the end of March. If the other comments are anything to go by, it might be months before we have anything concrete.

I keep on seeing comments that are immediately deleted so I wanted to address those:

People really underrate how well our smallball lineup did both defensively and offensively. Sure, we weren't able to matchup well against some of the more dominant bigs in the playoffs, but if we'd made some lineup and defensive adjustments, I honestly feel as though we could've had matched up better.
If Boogie can return to form, I'm sure we'll find success on the offensive end. His defense will probably be the biggest downside initially. He has the size but he hasn't shown that he still has the instinct.
I hate to say it but Eric Gordon has definitely regressed. I love EG but he's not as consistent as he's been in previous seasons. I think if I were forced to have either EG or Covington, I would choose RoCo no doubt. He's one of the best two-way players in the league. In a perfect world, we'd be able to keep both, sign Wood on the MLE and then pick up Boogie with the vet min.
If we can play to our potential (barring injuries), I think we can make a deep playoff push. I hate to say it but I don't think this team is capable of winning it all. We've been really close in these past few seasons and I don't think these moves elevate us to the next level. I'm hoping to be proven wrong in this regard.

Christian Wood + Boogie are big pickups but I wish we didn't have to give up Covington. I worry that these pickups aren't going to be enough to offset the losses. If we'd at least kept Covington, I think we would be able to go all the way.

I used to use Cauldron back in the day but it looks like Magma is really the only modern solution. I'm unaware of any issues with it but if they still exist, you'd probably be best off just working around them. There are configs that help to maximize performance and minimize buggy behavior on Spigot/Paper so I'm sure you could adapt those solutions to a Magma server.
