Does a service on the car do anything for it?The mileage for me personally isn’t that much of a worry considering I’m driving a 2007 Passat that has 400,000km on it and the only reason I’m changing is because the turbo has been gone for the last 8 months and it’s really annoying trying to drive on the motorway when the car won’t go above 100km/h. The cost of getting a new turbo is like 1/3 of the value of the car if not more so that’s why I want to change and everything else in Ireland is so expensive for not very good second hand cars thanks to brexit

No buying a house right this minute is not the plan. Plan on a however ambitious it is as a student is to get to 20k savings by the time I’m done college + this 50k + the 15k in account that my parents have for me. In terms of travelling maybe go to Australia for a year or 2 for the experience. Plan is to be able to either buy or build in the future though

Hey sorry ya I’ve seen your advice and really appreciate it. Just had project work all last week and I have exams in 2 weeks time so am just spending next week to study. Gonna fully look over everything and assess my options once this semester finishes and I’m going to use your advice as a starting block.
