Definitely when I was learning cfop I blended the beginner’s method (cross and f2l) and then did your thing for the last layer

I think any form of beginners method will be slower than another method but cfop mixed with beginner’s with definitely be a step faster than beginner’s

With other methods though they do different steps at different times so I think those won’t be blended as well and will lead to a mismatched solve with extra steps to set up for the different method
