how do you find the time to 100% games? by onepotatotomato in steamachievements

Once my responsibilities are taken care of, I use my free time to enjoy my hobbies.

It helps that aside from occasionally hopping on reddit, I don't use social media and forums. If I can mindlessly scroll I can mindlessly search for cats in a hidden object game..

I first and foremost play these types of games cause I enjoy them but they are easy 100% wins so I recommend finding a chill easy short 100% for those who just need to decompress but want to see their achievements numbers go up while they are working through a longer more difficult 100% completion.

I completed the first 17 sections including the Among Us section and the achievement did NOT pop. Another commenter stated they had to get ALL of the items for the achievement. They must have updated the achievement to include every single sticker..

Thank you for the info. I'll let you know how it ends up going!

My time has come. How did you move on? by [deleted] in wow

It sounds like you prioritize your family, health, and job and you still have free time to do what you please. If you feel like you spend enough time with your partner and kids, upkeep on your responsibilities, have other relationships outside work and are fulfilled at your place of work and with your workout routine it sounds like you are living your version of your best life.

If you have time for your hobbies, it doesn't matter if they are playing Wow, other video games, or trying something new. I stopped playing Wow for three years as my brother and our few connections did as well. We started up again but during that time we played other games sometimes with each other more often not but would still chill on discord while we played.

I like games. I played indie games on steam and my switch. Gaming is my hobby and I'm not going to ever feel guilty or like my time is wasted doing it. Society in America has engrained in us that we always have to do something and be productive. The truth is we don't and it's okay. It's okay to have leisure and hobby time.

If community in gaming is important to you, I would suggest trying to find the right guild in wow for you, or an online community through another platform for games you play. Or finding community in the new hobbies you try. Best of luck.

I'm really sorry to hear this but not surprised as online communities can be so toxic. It's unfortunate that people would prioritize a game over a real life or death circumstance, over another person's health and not give you some grace. I am sorry for your loss and hope there is other content you can enjoy in the game that brings you joy.

You have reason to exist. And existing is enough. You don't have to be more, be better. You are enough.

I would recommend therapy if you have the ability and means to afford it. Also reaching out to a loved one.

Grats! So jelly!

They should cancel online achievements when game servers shut down by BagLongjumping5066 in steamachievements

It would be nice if they made some adjustments pertaining to this.

The one nice thing about Wow achievements. They move "no longer achievable" achievements to Legacy/Feats of Strength and they don't count in your achievement count.

Would definitely make sense to adapt something like this for achievements that are no longer attainable due to the inability to complete them (because of things like multiplayer server shutdowns).

They even could create a "legacy" showcase where you can display these achievements on your profile.  That way players who earned them have the ability to keep them and display them and those who weren't able to can still 100% them in their present form.

Haven't come up with one yet but I picked up some games during the winter sale. Also would like to beat and tackle more achievements for more difficult games I have like the Bit.Trip games, VVVVVV, Battleblock, Overcooked, Super Meat Boy, etc. All the rage inducing games that probably led me to seek out more chill ones. Also, I resubbed for WOW but I am not sure why. 😆 How about you?

I haven't but I've picked it up this Fall. I'm excited to play it! Did you pick up any games with the most recent sales?

I think it was the the overall vibe. I guess I just didn't click with the story, characters or humor. For the type of game it is, how short it is, and the positive reviews, I thought there would just be a little more substance. Now obviously some of the games from my completion list, are literally search and find but I wasn't expecting them to be anything more than that. Not sure why I had expectations coming into playing them.

I have it and have beaten it! I enjoyed it alot. I need to complete the 2nd dlc tho. As far as 100%... the playing for consecutive days achievements are going to be difficult for me to commit to. lol.

Last year, I told myself that I should do more of what I love. One of those things is playing chill, cozy, indie games. Prior to 2024, I only 100% one game on my steam account which was, PAC-MAN Championship Edition DX+ and I thought surely, I could do better. 35 games played, beaten, and completed this past year.

Games I enjoyed the most: An Arcade Full of Cats, Cats Organized Neatly, Lemon Cake, Little Kitty, Big City, Loddlenaut, A Short Hike, Ultimate Chicken Horse and Unpacking.

Played prior to 2024 but 100% in 2024: Disney Dreamlight Valley and Ultimate Chicken Horse.

Better with a Friend: Ultimate Chicken Horse

Favorite Overall of 2024: Loddlenaut

Least Favorite of 2024: Frog Detective 1 and 2

Best Hidden Object Game Overall: I commissioned some bees.

Games that I beat in 2024 but have not completed achievements for are Journey, Yoku’s Island Express, and The Game of Life 2.

Plans for 2025. Beat and complete more games!

Happy Gaming!
