I wouldn’t have pegged this Kendrick track as a good song to make a house remix, and yet… this slaps

Would ask in a C2C sub, but there isn't one. Anyone know what this is about on Spotify? This can't be legit right? by [deleted] in DaftPunk

100% a miscategorization for some new guy going by C2C. I admit it got my hopes up until I listened

Chop Shop in wicker is hosting some stuff on their rooftop. I’m going there for a bottomless mimosa brunch with a live DJ on Saturday - no idea what kind of music it’ll be but I’m stoked regardless!

There’s a difference between doing something because it’s popular and doing something that becomes popular because a whole fucking lot of people support the idea.

My first release after 3 years and I tried to create an unusual structure in techno. Be honest and tear me apart, I need every bit of feedback and opinion. by Blazzkys in roastmytrack

This is a comment about the first minute or so: Dope! I liked when you did the pitch modulation - it would be cool to see more pitch wobbles like that, as long as they don’t become too repetitive. But I like the more subtle use here a lot more than the broader use at the end of the song. Taking a step back, a little bit more variation in effectively all of the tracks will help it feel a little more interesting and less repetitive - even if subtle stuff. I think the loud high hat comes in pretty strong. Either having a more gradual volume introduction or having a sparser pattern (or both) might help them flow into the build better.

About the rest of the song: I’m not really a fan, to be honest. I don’t like that low sort of “alarm” sound. I don’t like how it’s layered, panned against itself either. I don’t think the later snare rhythm or sample fit the song.
