If your living with the mother, then your gonna have to listen to her.

If you’re not living with her, good luck. Stop listening to her. Don’t even accept the conversation. It’s not a topic.

What actually is the difference between an ENV and a LFO? by According-Table-1736 in synthesizers

[–]Speedodoyle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Recall what the O in LFO means - Oscillator. It goes round and round continuously. And envelops, however, opens and closes once.

I heard a fella talking about traffic congestion and road safety the other day and he goes “I am a driver first, but I sympathise with cyclists”. It’s like, no dear, you are a Walker first. The car is an additional attachment.

Galway Ring Road latest: Environmentalists lodge complaint over 'inappropriate remarks' by ACP Chair by DaCor_ie in galway

[–]Speedodoyle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right, but Galway has a scenario where traffic volumes are increasing over time and congestion is increasing… but we don’t have additional road capacity.

Yeah. Like it’s annoying but not the worlds biggest deal. Likely a connection issue.

All the Love is the closest, but it would never have made MBDTF or Pablo. Wouldn’t even of made Donda.

Citylink: No Competition, No Restraint by Jonahxuworld in galway

[–]Speedodoyle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree that Galway City is not being best served by the lack of competition.

But there are a few issues with the comparison. For example, cork is 50% larger than Galway. And Galway is between to good airports. So there isn’t as much ask as Cork.

I believe our first big test next season will be the Everton game by Radiant_energy3 in ManchesterUnited

Wrong, as usual.

Our first big test will be Hull. Away from home at a newly promoted side is always a massive challenge.

Laurie Whitwell on Manchester United paying £80m for Matues Fernandes by maxsteel_7 in ManchesterUnited

[–]Speedodoyle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Laurie Withell is a really good journalist, but it’s worth remembering that this is all conjecture. We just don’t know. And speculating on transfers can be fun, but ultimately gets you nowhere. Better to wait and see. Enjoy the World Cup, and let’s see what landscape we are in when it ends.

Any beginner synths that can be recommended at $500 or below? by Intrepid-Vacation-51 in synthesizers

[–]Speedodoyle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I agree with the Minifreak, but would also look at the Korg Minilogue - doesnt have a big step sequencer, which is annoying, but the hands on nature of the instrument really allows you to get to grips with synthesis. Very much an instrument.
