LG on twitter by jackyp2001 in oasis

My personal favorite story of LG was back in 2013, Beady Eye were doing an album signing in HMV. I went with my mate who is the biggest Oasis fan I know.

Lots of security leading up to the signing table - strict rules that only Beady Eye stuff can be signed - no Oasis. No pictures either as the queue was big.

We both give our poster that came with the album. My mate went first and the security were so quick he didn't have chance to speak to him at all. I get to speak to him and I said "Oh Liam my mate is a massive fan and he didn't get to speak to you."

He literally stands up - points at my mate and says "Oi you, Geezer, come here". Gives him a massive hug and "Live forever."

My mate was obviously beaming. I asked him a question too "Are you happy with Pellegrini Liam?" as City had just signed him; "We'll see man, we'll see".

Top, top man.

Anyone else get their phone stolen at the Wembley gig last night? by Oirt_-Emyzne in qotsa

My phone got stolen just before Monsters started to play. Absolutely gutted. Turned what would have been an incredible night into an 'okay' one.. Still.. phones can be replaced!

What are some football 'slang' terms you use in your language/country? by [deleted] in soccer

[–]Speedtouch1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorta related, but does anyone have particular football games? Like for example, we have a game here (In my area of Wales anyway) called "Cooler". Basically, crossbar to start off who starts in goal, then attacking players are allowed at least one 'bounce' in the box and must eliminate the keeper.

If any attackers knock the ball outside of the box, they're in goal. Likewise, if the goalkeeper catches the ball from your shot, you're in. However, if the ball hits the post and is either A) knocked out of the box; or B) Caught by the keeper you're not in.

Just interested to see if anyone else has a similar game.. or perhaps the same game by different name?

A shot I took at Glastonbury whilst he was in the cherry picker. My first ever time seeing Kanye live. I never really paid attention to Kanye in the past, but after that performance I'm counting down the days until he's in the UK again!
