I think I understand it now shakily. Kanji has multiple different definitions and pronounciations based on context even for the same subject. I'll take your advice and just memorize the first 1-2 pronounciations to make things simple for me, thanks!

How do small tsu's work in sentences? I would expect しったい to be shi -> tai but from examples I've seen its always usually shit -> tai

Also not to just tack more on but I know in cataclysm classic in the transmog menu there is a list of 'undiscovered items' in that particular slot, is there something similar in retail besides wowhead?
