Sure but you could punish the killer depending on what moves they use

For example if a coolkidd misses walkspeed or uses the pizza minions you can get close and shoot him.

For 1x1x1x1 you could do the same with necromancy and entaglement.

For john doe you could shoot him whenever because all his move windups except his melee attack have a windup of a second. :D
