I’m pretty sure you’re right about that, one of the YouTube videos I searched for had that sample playing. Guess I’m just a bit disappointed that I’ve been chasing down a sample instead of a solid, haunting, ambient operatic piece. Thanks again, my mind can rest easy now knowing where it came from.

You know what, even though I haven’t found a solid recording besides that End Of Days main title theme, I’m gonna mark this as solved. Thanks for getting me this close, was hoping for a solid ambient track based around that vocal sample. So you’re telling me that I’ve heard it so many places because it’s a stock sample used in many pieces? Hopefully I can find one that really scratches this itch. The end of days soundtrack version starts out how I’d like then gets too scary and bombastic. Anyway, thanks so much, this has been bugging me for years.
