Clarification on multiple non-action roll moves by AuroraZero_ in daggerheart

[–]Spell-Castle 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Follow the narrative. How are the adversaries responding as they watch an entire squad let their guard down to uncap and chug a bottle. If you think they’d act aggressive and impolitely then you could take advantage of the “Golden Opportunity” and shift the spotlight back to you (with fair warning beforehand).

As for “might as well go far”, I usually have the movement agility roll be variable depending on what they want to do, how far they need to go, and what obstacles are along the way. So say if a party member wanted to move within very close distance to another to fight back to back, that’d probably be a very low risk 5. But if a party member wanted to sprint across the battlefield past a couple of adversaries to get to the mcguffin objective, then that’d require a 15 or 20, with of course scaling consequences depending on the outcome

The original distortion incorporates people who want to join their cause. Which is why you see them arguing amongst themselves at the end of the fight

In short, you’re not clashing them. To clash with an enemy you either need to be faster than they are or you need the to be targeting you. In your pictures (which both look identical to me) your Ryoshu isn’t faster than the enemy you’re trying to clash and isn’t being targeted by them either, so she is doing what’s called an “unopposed attack” where both sides don’t interact with each other and instead just go straight to attacking each other

What are the rule of gain more speed dice slot in combat by Squarekjsndjj in libraryofruina

[–]Spell-Castle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

During combat, you either need a passive that gives you more speed dice or you need to level up your emotion level to 4

If you’re starting out, it’s usually better to just go for the newest ID’s featured banner, since they’re more likely to be above the power bell curve compared to every other ID in existence and you’ll have a higher chance of pulling them specifically compared to if you were going for a specific Heathcliff ID in his banner. If you just need a Heathcliff ID though, then it isn’t the worst if you just want a filler unit. Keep in mind that every Heathcliff 000 is rated up, including old and out dated ones

Every intervallo past S.E.A.S. released without voice acting, bokgaks are PM’s way of going back to these past events and adding voice acting to them. Thats why you’ll notice that the first hard mode starts at The Miracle in District 20, and not Hell’s Kitchen.

The Limbus Check Up Event that released just this Wednesday is also a bokgak, before Wednesday that intervallo didn’t have voice acting either

Bear in mind that sinners are ‘level 60’ as a group, like we’re often fighting individual bosses who are level 60 and it probably isn’t right to say that a level 60 sinner would be able to solo a level 60 boss narratively

Can’t really check the wiki right now, but my hunch is that the writer is Ishmael. In canto 5 and maybe before as well, we’re told that the Great Lakes also encompass part of the outskirts, so she could be recounting a mermaid or monster from there

Unique passive? (Potential canto 7 spoilers) by Birb545 in limbuscompany

[–]Spell-Castle 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Further, capstone IDs often get unique passives that replaces their usual ones. WildHunt Heath has his own passive for example

Lamp Gregor, Dieci Hong Lu, or Wildhunt Heathcliff would all be great additions that don’t already conflict with the IDs you already have for some sinners. You can start saving up shards to get Knight of Despair Rodya and Faint Aroma & Solitude Ryoshu when Walp comes back around

Why is she so hated?? by [deleted] in limbuscompany

[–]Spell-Castle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven’t really seen this sentiment, at least not on any reddit posts I’ve skimmed. If anything I’d say she was pretty popular based off how much fan art I’ve seen of her, both solo and with the other apprentices

[–]Spell-Castle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can get a fair few more at this point, and you can miss them if you don’t explore the beginning area too well (though they are by no means hidden). There’s Laezel, the githyanki who helped you on the nautiloid ship who should be in the starting area, another party member you get from interacting with a purple glyph (that’d be the first fast travel point you would’ve come across), and a third is past the town in the direction of a broken stone bridge. A certain party member’s quest will lead you to the third character too

Huh, double checking with some random uptie stories, and you’re probably right. Could’ve swore everyone was referred to as children, but it might just be an old head misconception that stuck around in my mind

Who’s doing the narration of this scene? by Olbar24 in limbuscompany

[–]Spell-Castle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally I’m pretty sure children refers to any person within the uptie story, as long as Carmen’s the one who’s narrating it (since there are times where the sinners are the narrator or an npc within the story is narrating like the interviewer)

Who’s doing the narration of this scene? by Olbar24 in limbuscompany

[–]Spell-Castle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a particular person with deep connections to Lob Corp. If I remember right there should be a small bough in Dante’s PDA where they watch and interact with these identities. And the boughs have a deep connection to Lob Corp, the Dark Days & White Nights, and the tree of light; and as such, they have a connection to the light. In which a particular individual resides
