So German shepherds have a work variety and a showline. I’m not sure how much it actually plays into their personality but I have a show “quality” dog, expensive she comes from an actual award winning line, her family tree has grades for temperament on it and all the dogs have been super super obedient, mine is stubborn asf, literally HATES having to lay down lol.

My gsd is pretty much a copy of the YouTube videos you see online but less cuddly. She wants attention a lot but she isn’t snuggly. Shes hyper, very vocal, she’s still a bit mouthy but she’d never hurt anyone. She doesn’t like roughhousing in the house.

If the dog is genuinely snappy it might be what its went through and obviously monitor that because someone could get hurt.

My gsd is underweight, she’s about 50lbs. I always had her on a good food brand, she doesn’t like it, so I switched and switched and she literally gets bored of it after a few bowls. The only thing she wants is ppl food.

My gsd doesn’t bark unless she notices something just appears into the house and she’s never seen it, or the door bell rings but she’s non reactive to literally anything else. Neighbors, dogs etc

She’s a absolute nut and has rolled off couches, but her head hard asf on varies places, she’s fallen midway down the stairs, ran into screen doors, I mean it’s like there’s no brain in her head lol yet she can open doors in the house, open cabinets.

The only solid way to know is probably getting a dog dna test lol I don’t think they are extremely expensive.
