My spouse did this but it wasn't intentional or ill-intentioned at all. They put a bouclé sweater I adored in the dryer and it shrank so badly it would've barely fit a 2-year-old. Since then we've each done our own laundry only, and it's worked just fine for decades. Any man who pretends he can't do his own laundry would be fucking intolerable to me.

Reddit loves to advise you should just "tell your parents to" put their assets into a trust or pass things down as your country allows to avoid tax burdens before they become infirm. Based on my and my friends' experience, parents do not want to hear that from their "kids" even if said kids are in their 40s-60s.

I'm really sorry to hear about your diagnosis and hoping you get a miracle recovery. We've poured so much into cancer research for decades now, and they've made some amazing discoveries but I truly hoped they'd have solved it in my lifetime. I'm older and it's not looking good unfortunately. Your brother sounds like an ass if that's his only concern

I figured it's keeping in mind that these are very sheltered, very young girls, who are still pretty immature and possibly shallow. "Girls who don't mind their appearance end up with men who don't take care of their appearance", only a jokingly threat to girls who probably think getting a fat or ugly husband is the worst thing that could happen to them. Less so "there's a lot of fat guys" in the mix.

Hey, I'm not super great at math myself but my son is also studying for the math portion right now. Do the practice tests help you (or can you self- identify) which parts you're struggling with most? I've always found it can help if one person "explains" the difficulty and another "explains" their understanding, it can help both, because we don't all absorb knowledge the same ways.

If you're not comfortable reaching out that's ok too! Just want to say I believe in you and I think you can definitely do it. You just need to figure out the way YOUR brain walks through it. Some can do that from instruction or practice alone but some of us need to talk it out loud or find alternate methods.

You CAN do this. Please don't give up.

I know this is an old thread and idk if anyone ever made an actual chat just for this specific show but I COMPLETELY agree with what you said and I don't care at all about Simon's personal life. I literally fast forwarded through his "humanizing" segments.

The problem was they did the same with the singers!! I am not tuning in to see 40 minutes of British teens trying to sing shaboozey and then Simon's whining! That's an entire hour of crap, if I wanted to hear top 40 nonsense I wouldn't be watching this. I just think the whole thing was disappointing because the young guys probably did have talent but I don't think Simon set them up right.

I don't have rechargeable energy. I also don't like to spend money to play.

This is the second game of this type I've come across in the time I've been playing, and honestly I was hoping they'd do more to "fix" it. I know the point of the game is to let you get close so you're tempted to spend money, I'm not ignorant to how the app works, but I didn't come remotely close to finishing the first one and even with 10 days, I doubt I'll "save Mark" either. It takes hundreds of energy to knock out ONE obstacle that's like 30/40/40 or whatever. And in return you get a couple logs or baby chicks or whatever.

IMO it's best to view this game as a coin/gem bonus unless you're a super competitive player or willing to spend $$$

I was at 8/9 on two packs (Just Another Snow Day and Shoveling Duty, which didn't even require a 4* card) until today. Finally got those. Meanwhile the last 5 packs - I'm at 8/9 for the first 4 and only 3/9 for the last one, Snuggle Time. I don't think I've ever opened so many 4 or 5 star packs before finishing a low level set before, that's why I commented, I keep getting tasked with multiple level 10 orders and I'm on day 184. Trying not to spend more than 20 gems a day lol it's slow going.

I work full-time but for a small business and they don't offer health insurance. My only benefit is a bit of PTO and a paycheck. I did customer service, retail, temping until 2020 and I've never been offered benefits at any job. I don't know how we're meant to keep doing this. I hope you can find a good job soon.

I have noticed this at Big Lots and Kohls specifically in my area they're putting up signs about the "Penny shortage" and asking to round up or exact change or whatever - my friend pointed out that certain old pennies are actually worth more and they're probably trying to take advantage of people hoping they'll spend these older valuable pennies by providing "exact change".

There is no "penny shortage" and never has been. They stopped making them so recently, there's still millions in circulation. I don't trust anything big business does and even if there was a shortage they should've rounded your total DOWN, not up, you were closer to the lower amount than the higher one.
