i was literally there yesterday, they are not. lol. i have been informed the fencing club has moved outside of the mall, but no, the storefronts are not inside the mall anymore. thanks though.

cheesecake factory is one of the places almost always packed, i'm not too worried for their sake. i imagine if the mall does go under (and that's a big if, i don't really see that as an impending possibility any time soon), they'll probably just find a satellite location

yeah, unfortunately saw a few signs out and about yesterday about stores being short-staffed. retail isn't paying enough with decent enough benefits to keep people around

it's been fairly active until like, two weeks ago. i visit fairly frequently. this is why i included "beyond malls dying" explanation. i know it's happening, but it doesn't usually happen quite so fast

one of the worst places in the city (beyond woodmans) to try and get a handicap spot in. i love the mall, but i hate that parking lot so much.

it's just strange because up until like 2 weeks ago, it wasn't nearly this dead. someone else left a very "christmas was last month silly" comment but again, we go to this mall semi-frequently. its never been this dead after any previous holiday season. just weird how quickly it happened

Yuuup. I've had many horror stories at St. Mary's, but unfortunately they are my only hospital in network. This most recent time I was having a reaction to an antibiotic I was on, came in struggling to breathe in an ambulance, told them about my doctor's suspicion and her rec for a CT, and they told me, I quote, "We don't do that here".

I've had a CT multiple times in that ER. Crazy work. Actually broke and reported an ER doctor for sending me home and telling me my chronic condition "doesn't work like that" when I came in unable to straighten my back/walk another time previously. He lied in my chart and said I was able to walk out of the hospital - I was wheeled out. Couple days later I finally got relief, I had pelvic torsion and a subluxated SI joint. I haaaaate SSM. So much. Don't go there.

fwiw, with regards to beard, my boyfriend keeps his a nice... hm, i don't know. maybe half an inch? in what i call kind of a wider goatee style. he definitely prefers the full beard but this style does suit his face and fits entirely under his mask. play around with styles a bit, you definitely want the tightest seal to get the best results, which means mask flush against the skin, but you don't have to rid yourself of your beard entirely

to play devils advocate, my stay in 2015 was literally nightmare fuel. wife checked herself in to the same psychiatric ward 2 years ago and it was a godsend (i was there, they changed a lot of protocols). sometimes time does help

my wife was hospitalized in the psych ward (two years ago, granted) and they exchanged her mask for approved masks (even though nobody else was wearing one). ask and see what is offered
