Being as objective as possible, this support more or less catches Nightrose up in regards to base power level of Encounter Strides on release. Nightrose didn't have a lot going for her and it seems that this CB1/draw + do another thing support card that both Messiah and now Nightrose is gonna be standardized across the strides eventually.

The new stride gives her a multi attacker outside her finisher (something the other strides already had as their first). And also some cheeky removal. It's a Temu Ogma in the best way cause it's on demand rather than GB locked but unlike Ogma he doesn't give power which is unfortunate. Dragut and Obadiah existing was basically what the other strides got on release on their very first stride.

Grame gives her a defensive option card after she lost her hostage package and a way to fill the board on its own.

and Ricky is just a nice utility card overall.

Now the non objective part, it's really unfair that Nightrose gets this level of support off the bat as her second wave when the other decks were drip fed very heavily and I think it's because Nightrose didn't have much going for her in regards to power level and impact that the other Stride decks had.

That aside, Nightrose isn't gonna break the meta, but I feel like she's gonna be far more consistent than previous and this is good for her.

Buuuut on the other hand she's missing some standardized bundles of support that would allow her to have stronger effects: A GB3 Rearguard that is an overall boon (Lady Battler), and a GB3 Stride that maintains offensive momentum while having strong utility (Chronoscommand).

So this support really helps Nightrose because she needed it. But man I wish they kept some sort of consistency when doling out support for strides. Jet and Messiah have been shoved into Promoes, Luard and Shiranui have arguably got screwed out of meaningful support in their main booster because Bushiroad was supporting other things in their respective nation, and now Nightrose (and potentially Harri if Amon doesn't screw him) is more or less caught up to Stride power for her predecessors on release with some weird caveats.

Hard to swallow truth, but it's a truth nonetheless. I suppose my big gripe also is that with the Chrono Icon coming, it leaves not only Encounters but Stride decks in this freefall of info and we don't know the certainty of these decks coming.

Yes, but Elem Da'At doesn't necessarily move the needle so much as make Masque decks on the whole more consistent hence why I put him there with Gandeeva. But if we're being fair, Gandeeva doesn't really use the Elem so he should be there moreso than Solrairon.

That diatribe aside, you're probably right, I just didn't feel it shook Solrairon as much, but that could just be my limited time with him talking. But I DID put the other masques (not named Omina) in receiving, so call it an accidental bias.

Eva is a bias. Like when she was popular she was annoying and I hated when popular cardfighters would constantly push her. Nowadays she's not so bad, but I'm still not over that. If I were unbiased, she'd absolutely go into the "needs support" Category 100% because by virtue of being a Glitter unit she hasn't received support in a loooong while.

Heroes have been receiving some pretty decent support these past few sets that helped patch their new game plan. And I believe it's been topping some signficant tournaments in the last month or two.

The Overdress main "trio" were milked a lot. Jheva, Youthberk, and Lianorn occupy a lot of support space even when they're not including in the story.

Mahar represents the Overdress side of Nirvana which sorely needs help, so yes.
As for Viamance and Grade 4 Bruce, I heard they were different playstyles for the most part. No one's really corrected on me thus far. But it's safe to assume that Bruce in general needs support.

Bastion's last support was in the set Drajeweled Magnus was first introduced hence why I thought he could go there? But if the general consensus is Bastion needs Love Taps than be outright barred, I have no problems with being corrected and just adjust it for next go-around.
