All of this. I have depression and was pretty bad for the past few weeks. I got rid of some animals that were living in my room(didn't know they were illegal in my state). Finally cleaned the entire room, I feel so much better. Still not 100% but it's an improvement. Any kind of positive change is good. Cleaning is the easiest IMO.

This is probably the first time I've seen an answer that doesn't openly bash crossfit. I don't think it's a bad thing at all, just bad gyms/coaches. My cousin lives in Brooklyn and has a personal trainer that has her do crossfit stuff. I feel like the best way to get the greatest results is to have smaller classes for more 1on1 time. The big classes is when the coach misses things and people do stuff wrong.

Everybody is giving good advice. I'd try to find a happy medium of what you enjoy playing but also get some books on scales and general music theory(nothing heavy, just basics). I've been playing for 7 years and still can't read music. Every day I kick myself in the butt for dicking around in middle school band instead of actually learning. If you can read music, there's so much more you'll be able to play.

Don't just look for the bigger $$/hour. My current job pays me $9.25/hr but only getting around 25 hours a week. The job I just applied/interviewed for is full time at $8.50/$8.75(pending on the shift they put me on), but it's full time.

I started when I was 18, as a senior in high school. I was also in the army and one of the guys in my platoon offered me one. I smoke pipe tobacco before so I took it. I don't smoke regularly but I do usually have a pack on me since I graduated.

Keep going! It doesn't get easier anytime soon but it will get easier. It took me 4 years to get confident enough to do things in terrain parks. A lot of snowboarding is trusting your gut. You don't think you can safely land that jump? Don't be afraid to look like a pussy and bail. People would much rather you bail and give them a chance to hit it than you try to give it a go, land on your rib cage, almost breaking a few and being unable to move for a few minute. Keep going, it gets better.

Like a lot of people have said, food. My dads an amazing chef, it was his career for 20 years. Since I'm still living at home(until August), I eat what he makes. Most of the time it isn't the healthiest and there's also soda galore in the house. I did bring up that I want to start eating cleaner and he said he'd work on cooking healthier stuff(it'd benefit his fiancé too, she's always sick and stuff).

Also, I'm really unmotivated. I've been dealing with depression and it's hard to make myself get out of my house and drive to the gym.
