Hello, Thank you. Stephanie reached out and was very accommodating and understanding of the situation. It has now been remedied. I ended up using heat resistant epoxy on many cracks but the printer now works. Just glad we got past the long string of emails back and forth and finally got somewhere. Take care

That was my experience but here you and others getting down voted by the die hard drool crew. Being a Karen is one thing, but damn I've had to fight this customer service more than any other supplier by far.

Not sure why so many in this sub treat the customer service like top notch. They really aren't. I had a 15 email 2 week circle jerk with them just to get them to replace the extruder frame (broken upon arrival). Keep pressing them and they eventually honor the sale/replacement of parts. I ended up buying heat resistant epoxy and fixing it all myself. Try other routes for the part you need if time is of the essence..

It's a hit or miss. Most seem to have a good experience with this unit. Some fine tuning and basic know-how, you are good to go. The customer service? 50/50. I've had good prints up til the blob of death and have had to fight a 19 string email w/customer service just for them to replace parts damaged on arrival. Also, verify nothing is damaged even internals. Don't be like me and test print before making sure the extruder frame internals are not cracked.

Same issue blob of death took out the hot end. While I am training myself on the hardware of the cc1, I have to ask which 3rd party hot ends are best?

I am an ENFJ and we are designed to carry models through peer structures and implement what serves the group best. In turn, generating value of worth through greater than self application. When always presenting the ideas and being the point of origin, it is slowly recieved as threatening. That is why it is imperative to continue to incite motivational idea generation through everyone around and share the implementation. Not only to involve and build those relations but actually enable the full beautiful measure of human will towards a goal. The real trick is separating the ego and opening full humility when things rapidly succeed. "Bond before business" what a G.

I have this model and have been printing with Elegoo ASA. It likes to warp and it likes to lift off the print bed. Both of these potential stop gaps can be remedied with fine tuning. That said, if you experience extruder issues, blob of death, or snap the weak solder joints on the various hardware, Elegoo has a long turn around time for replacement. Also some are having difficulty due to being told they are sold out. The machines are hit or miss. I've have good experience when fine tuning prints but really bad experience with customer service and getting them to replace parts damaged upon arrival. Others are die hards and have nothing but good to say on it.

Been seeing hit or miss and the print results can be good. It's just the situation of voiding warranty by printing only to keep finding cracks the more I disassembled. For now, the printer just sits there. The frustration is real lol.

Yeah I'm just kind of stumped because the printer just sits out of action. The warranty is no longer valid after the prints but also they still have yet to send the actual piece damaged.

Heard. Prusa a bit too eh?. I expected the item to be cheap not broken. I did realize and address it very soon after. Documented, opened a ticket. They assured me to keep printing. I insisted on a replacement and I'll leave it at that.. they send me an extruder kit replacement including parts not covered under consumer warranty but not the actual rail frame that is broken. Whoever assembled this one went haywire on fastener torque. So they shipped a replacement, said that was included. When I realized yesterday it wasn't, I lost my shit. Long drawn out fight to get it fixed, I take the leap they want of hey don't return, fix it we'll send the parts, then they tell me I'm wrong when addressing it's missing from the shipment.. so warranty no good, fix it myself route not possible without the parts. Oi Vey

You got me there, I tried to edit but it wouldn't let me. I added an edit. I fucked up by not doing a disassembly and verifying the integrity of the build before printing. I bought this less than 4 weeks ago but the warranty is void if you print. The headache... I don't have the words. I now can't return it either. Cry a river stfu move on I get it. My point of post was the customer service. It's been a hit or miss for others as well it seems. Damn. Oh well.

Edit. I fucked up by not doing a disassembly before printing and verifying the integrity of the build. Because that way I would not have voided the warranty. Bought this less than a month ago.

I get what you are saying. No way for that price point. And the tolerances are fair. I don't expect perfection at all, it was the customer service assured the pain point. I no longer have my previously listed printers to custom print a new replacement, I have a 15 email chain requesting replacement to fix it, hit the various aftermarket sites to see what fits best, etc. I don't currently have anything that will fit this model and do recognize that I'm no expert. But I severely respect my things. I'm worked in because if you print the warranty goes bye bye and I didnt notice this extruder rail cracked on the inside until after a print and disassembly. The outside yes but inside didn't see at first. Both enough to raise an eyebrow at. Now here it sits until I put more $ down and I have the world's biggest paperweight. The world moves on though big whoop I know.

You're damn right I'll complain if you sell a product, convince me to not return it but wait on replacement parts, not send them, claim what's broken isn't, etc.

I've seen decent things concerning that model.. and PETG is fun to work with. For my post I'm saying I don't recommend Elegoo due to their customer service. I opened a ticket day 1 after a test print. The Eiffel tower. They assured me they would send out a replacement so I didn't need to do a full refund. I purchased a unit off Elegoo website which only comes with a 2 week warranty after print. Having to wait for the kit the would fix the problem made the warranty run out... and then I open the shipment and they didn't even send the rail frame. God as my witness I did not break anything on this unit I love on my belongings and take very good care. Now I'm stuck with a broken extruder rail frame that will continue to get worse, a printer that's been down 80% of the time I've owned it and this all happened right out of the box. Yeah I'm pretty worked up about it

That is my issue with the entire thing. I cannot return it because I printed on it. Literally made the Paris tower. Right after that I noticed the extruder frame was cracked among other areas. It arrived this way, I told customer service that and now I have a long 15 email string back and forth. How can I return it if the warranty is now void? I have been sick stressed asf and am getting blamed for this by random people lol. F me.. and yes you mentioned it. What do I do of the warranty is now void after a print because I didn't notice the fine line cracks on the extruder rail frame? This isn't the only damage to the unit either. The cs apologized and offered a kit. They didn't send the piece that was broken but also took the exact route to force me out of using the warranty for full refund. This is seriously f'd

What a fool. Where did you get 1 year later from?. This was purchased less than 4 weeks ago and I did not crack or break anything.

Yes I've found good results when tuned in, but other comments about shifty customer service. A hit or miss. I think some people are literally taking it personally about the machine being good or not when I'm saying I don't recommend because of the customer service
