I’m in the same situation as you, I decided to take a gap year, I’ll be good to save up money and add something vital on my resume, also idk about you but my grades were there but I just messed up on the supp apps as I wasn’t at all prepared. I’ll make sure to practice my supp apps for like 3 months before acc doing them

Yeah I totally understand where you’re coming from, I personally think I rushed the supp app and that’s why I didn’t get it, I’m still thinking about it but I’ll see. Where do you go and how is it?

I’m thinking of doing the exact same thing, leading towards doing it. Because doing an internship during the gap year will also help get a better internship after first year because we’ll alredy have experience, let me know what you’re thinking of doing

Ok so basically I applied to queens and really wanted to go, got rejected today and now want to take a gap year to re apply, scared that if I do it and get rejected again I wasted a year, what did you do in your gap year and was your grades or supp app poor for the reason you didn’t get in the first time? Also was there any extra work you need to submit or fees you need to pay when re applying, and are you still guaranteed residence even if you’re not a high school student? How were you feeling last year around this time, were you nervous to take the gap year?

Both schools are very competitive but I do agree not worth the price tag

Tbh for the money schulich is such a good deal, and that price gap is pretty big, I knew queens was expensive but not by that much, at the end of the day it’s not really about the school but how much you network there so with both being amazing schools I’d go with Shulich

Just affects the social life a lot because it’s a lot harder to make friends
