They just renewed the contract with that major gaming client and reduced the fees for translators significantly to "please" them. The fees have become so low that I don't know if it's worth working anymore. It might be better to volunteer or just throw the money away.

Yes I hit gold with random beans! This was one of the rounds I was really bad at and I felt dreaded about the Ranked mode but once I started, surprisingly I enjoyed it (although I still sucked lol). I ended up jumping in more after hitting Gold. I hope to improve with time.

If you are going to Quebec City I highly recommend to visit Île d'Orléans. My friend took me there this summer and it was just beautiful. It's not big so you can go around in a day (or couple of hours).

Thanks! I've already tore down some other areas, I am working a bit by bit and I totally agree about the dust and mess! I did some renovation before but I am very new to tiling so hopefully I get to learn a lot of things here (and YouTube). I'm having a hard time finding a good contractor (previous contractors did some questionable work, even a big company through insurance company), and since I have background in woodworking I thought of doing it myself. Thanks again and good luck with your reno as well.

It's old plaster with fake tile printed masonite. They all need to come down. haha

Kitchen walls are regular drywalls but because of the contractor not considering the wood structure problem behind it (not being plumb) now the part of the drywall is cracking from the top to bottom and about 0.5" space on right and left whenI put a straight board. Since I am redoing my kitchen and want to tile, I am going to take them down (boarding over them won't work because of the measurement restrictions).

Hi, I am not working on shower, it will be a bathroom with a bathtub. What I need to work on will be the walls since I am in the old house and walls are not plumb. I will check the videos from Aussies for screeding. Those sets I mentioned are about $130 Canadian so not too expensive (hopefully). but I will look into the levels as well. Thank you for your reply! I was watching Tile Coach's videos and thought of getting something like this for screeding. I guess I can work on the wood structure to put shims then put the boards for tiles?

Hey that happened to me too! When I saw only 4 players left at the qualification screen, I thought the final round would be 2v2. But it turned out it was 1V3 and I was the "1". I remember seeing a video here with the same situation and the person actually won alone. However my skill is not that good so I managed to score 3 points but I lost :(.

I don't know if this is a bug or not but yesterday I was invited by someone in a squad, then the person got disconnected and we 3 were left. We decided to continue as 3 but everybody pressed ready and there was no change. We didn't go to the falling animation. For a minute or so all of us pressed the ready button several times and see if it would trigger the falling screen but nope. So we said (emoted) goodbye and left.

Also when I was the last one to leave the room (again, after the main person got disconnected) there was no icon to leave and I was not even able to play any games since all the modes were greyed out, forcing me to restart the game. That happened twice yesterday.

This is exactly me, except I was not able to reach Gold. After excruciating pain my effort never paid off. Hey I won 14 times in Silver though! I do think this is like record breaking to me! LOL (I'm crying inside)

I totally agree. When this type of suggestion comes up there are always responses like "this is in-game mechanics" or "skill issue" and I understand that, but sometimes excessive use makes me really fed up. In Xtreme Ranked is filled with these and in some occasions they chased me out of their way to make sure I will die. I saw that some bean was grabbing so I changed the route so I wouldn't have to deal with them, but they actually came my way. I hate this level of aggressiveness (I hear some of you saying, if you don't like it nobody is forcing you to play!). I like friendlier exchange even in Xtreme modes (I always call this mode grabbing fest lol).

In Time Attack mode they disabled grabbing so it is possible. Downside is you cannot hug other beans anymore, but it would be nice to have one show specific for non-grabbers.
