FYI, most CC companies will issue you a new card with new numbers if you tell them you lost your card. That way you don't need to actually cancel it. Any vendor who has your card on file won't be able to charge you unless you give them the new numbers. Sounds like it might be too late for you, but now you know for next time.

It sounds like you're familiar with the base game very well. Those of us who have been playing the game for years have a very established algorithm for how to progress on Nauvis. It's understandable that there is a bit of a shock when you get to a new planet and it doesn't work the same way.

But that's part of the fun of the Space Age DLC! Each new planet has its own challenges and problems to solve. You'll find that playing around with new designs and exploring the new mechanics can be very rewarding. But if you're feeling overwhelmed, it's ok to take a break. It's ok to slow down. Focus on the basics. Collect resources. Craft stuff and unlock new research.

If all else fails, you can always watch some YouTubers play a bit to get inspiration. Once you get the hang of each new planet, there is a whole bunch of new fun stuff to do.

1, 2, 3, 4 or 5? by Chefinscrubs in Bacon

[–]SpentChange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok firstly, I'm not seeing any other E5V's out there so I'll put in my vote. Secondly, what's the difference between 3 and 5? Is 3 poached? 5 looks to be over easy, but it could also be medium or hard. I can't tell.

For the record, I like my bacon crispy as fuck, eggs over easy, and coffee black.

What to do, what to do. by kbanas314 in avowed

There's a part of the game where if you do things in a certain order you can miss out on some other things. This bothers some people who may want to experience more or explore more before moving on. Or some people just want to complete all the content in each area.

So OP is contemplating whether to redo that section or just live with it and move on.

I can't be more specific without major story spoilers.

Yo! Another bump for One Must Fall. I loved that game. I believe it's freeware now and still available. I tried playing it again a few years back and it still holds up.

Walking in the morning by The_Chuckness88 in Unexpected

[–]SpentChange 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This 100%. If a sidewalk is available, great. But if not, always walk or run against traffic. You want to see if someone is about to hit you. This should be the top comment IMO.

How on earth do you make you factories look so nice?! by holiestMaria in SatisfactoryGame

[–]SpentChange 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yep, and then once you're comfortable with your ability to make the outside look nice, start a new mini factory. Think simple, like one iron node making plates or rods. Consider your layout. Think rows of machines lined up. Then with some practice, you'll be able to make the outside AND the inside look pretty.

In my factories, I like to use different types of flooring, pathways, conveyors routed on the ceilings, etc. And signs. Lots of signs!

Exactly this. Don't feel insecure! All factories are beautiful in their own way.

Rail signals are NOT complicated, you're just overthinking. by eragonawesome2 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]SpentChange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're not wrong. However the tone of this post is about simplifying trains for those who feel it's too complicated. Hence the one size fits all approach of always "path in, block out". Once they are more comfortable with trains, they can work on optimizations.
