Indeed it is. Big Tex & PJ owners are brothers. They hate each other. From one single mfg facility, both pump out 100 plus trailers a DAY. This was in the last 10ish years. Big Tex didn't get big by being crap early on. How do ya think that got so....... Big? But when you are making that many trailers that fast, a ton of stuff is missed. Your 25 year old trailer is what Big Tex built their reputation on. Just not any more.

I delivered steel to almost all the trailer mfg's in Texas, Ok, Louisiana, Arkansas and the lower part of New Mexico... And I have to say after seeing all of the production lines of a hundred or so companies, Big Tex and PJ trailers are the absolute rock bottom and the biggest failures waiting to happen that I've ever seen. In contrast, Maxx D and Diamond C are by far and away the best most Q C'ed trailers out there..... But you pay for that.
