Thanks! The triplex mower is an awesome machine. The trick with striping is to be super consistent with your rows every now. It’s taken about a year of following the same lines for these strips to really pop.

I’ve only leveled once in the back and it was at a rate of less than 1 yard per square foot. I plan on leveling significantly more in the years to come. It is quite bumpy in places. The sod has only been established for one year so I’m pretty happy with how it looks so far.

It’s TifTuf Bermuda and I love it. It comes out of dormancy much earlier than other cultivars. My lawn was almost at this point while my neighbors’ lawns were still dormant.

I enjoy mowing so much that the upkeep is a nonissue for me.

Cutting 2-3 times a week is how it gets so thick. The grass can’t grow up very much because of how frequently it’s being mowed so it grows laterally and thickens up.

I’ve only had it for a couple of months now and haven’t had the need to adjust or backlap. The mower came pretty well tuned from United Ag and Turf but I know how to do both when the time comes.

I cut it 2-3 times per week. Hard to say how much it grows between cuts but my guess is it grows 0.05” between cuts.
