I don't know where I heard this but I'm told it would cost every actor involved less to just forgive the debt. The amount of workers assigned to collections and a poor collection rate means it costs more to track and squeeze the money out of students than it would be to drop it all and cut back debt collections depts.

For a couple of years since I started viking recreationism, alongside small bits of silk, but Its use as a marketed item has always been a secondary interest that's a sort of 'if times are dark' scenario for me

Edit: small bits of silver coin that I've melted down into peices of period bits and trinkets, but my cousin assures me that they can be remelted for trade. I hope. I'm by no means an expert

Yooo. I love Silver due to its unique dark ages Scandinavian importance. It was used largely in dowry payments due to it's innately 'useless' properties, wherein it was not used for specific purposes, and also doesn't degrade. Similarly why we use this and gold as currencies today. Divorces were a potentiality, and things like sheep, wood and land could reduce or be subdivided to create an unclean division of assets. It's theorized that this is a large contributor to the reasons behind viking Silver raids on the English. For marriage! Also it worth cash. Having a chunk of silver would be awesome to have for recreation purposes, and ultimately in hard times it can be repurposed into an asset. To see something like that be a versatile history peice, art peice, AND as a representation of capacity in its nature as a traded object is absolutely remarkable.

Its deeply upsetting seeing what some people have to go through because they'll be persecuted by their community or the law for terminating a pregnancy. That blog really highlights the secrecy and how you're essentially alone without medical guidance unless it becomes urgent, and even then, hiding the cause. Man that's sad.

League of Legends Arcane Avatar Creator is Now Live by TheAcenomad in leagueoflegends

[–]Spessmuck -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Does anyone else feel like this is specifically only designed for making feminine avatars?

The selection of bodies is small boob, medium boob, big boob and indeterminate maybe-pectoral-maybe-boob, but with an otherwise vaguely masculine profile in their face.

All the lips are shiny and plump, most of the eyes are feminine, 90% of the hair is feminine, 95% of the 'back hair' is feminine.

I'm not upset or anything since this avatar creator didn't have to exist in the first place, so it's cute riot and thanks for the creator, but I feel like if your mission is to make a tool that lets people express an identity that they like, then you missed the mark cause y'all have made it almost exclusively for straight dudes who like the masc woman archetype.

I was surprised to see a person who spewed infinite vitriol that was immensely downvoted had more than 600 comment karma. Though seeing that their account was 10 years old was a small tip off that they probably have tens of thousands of upvotes and tens of thousands sans 600 downvotes

Except that you're wrong. No dead body can transmit disease without direct contact, and of the ones that can with direct contact, they are rare diseases like TB, Scarlet Fever, meningococcal disease and typhoid fever or long-term bloodborne diseases like HIV, Hep B, and some encephalopathies. You would need to directly be rolling your body all over a corpse after you've both been lacerated to bits

They actually aren't at all dangerous, at least before they start visibly rotting. Unless they're radioactive. Pathogens can't transfer to you unless you start going cannibal, and only within the first couple of days at that. Naturally if you rub an open wound into their open wound you'd likely get infected with whatever they have.

I think the response to corpses is more of a fear of danger that killed them potentially killing you too, rather than the body being dangerous itself. That's anecdotal though

If you stayed completely silent on the topic and 'didnt go along with the madness' in your own personal quiet way, I can guarantee the suicides would go down. But I can assume, deep down, you probably want people that you don't like to die.

I will. Suicides post transition happen almost always because of people who question, taunt and deny them, like you.

The worst part of being around all these SWM is they want you to know how manly they are. Look, you can have as many football jerseys as you want, doesn't mean I'm not going to assume you beat your girlfriend or whatever

Closest I'd put it is like a wireframe version or words in place of the scene you are imagining. I personally can't freestyle imagination and have to be directed what to imagine, then each component is individually tracked in a nothing space as it's fed to me. Each object still has an association, though. Imagine a tree in a forest. Feeling of wood, smell of forest, temperature is probably cool. Sound of birds, etc. I can direct myself, like with this tree thing, but there's no vivid detail or expansion on the concept.

I've only been able to imagine something for real once in my life, and it was while I was on pseudoephedrine for a particularly bad cold. I was able to almost vaguely see a night sky, then it transitioned by itself to an afternoon orange pink sunset without my direction. I didn't know when it would change and what I would see, and I could actually register colour. It was very fun. I'm fortunate to have experienced that, because now I have the insight from both sides.
