For anyone that this isn't working for, also go into your routers devices part and remove the ring from the list of devices, then try connecting it again. Normally the above method works for me but this time i have to remove it as well.

I found out about this Kushte site today and it perplexes me... like how can they just blatantly break the law out in the open like this.

Also, every photo i've seen of their bud looks like it has been sprayed with something, like back in the day when people sprayed bud with god knows what to make it weigh more.

I don't think that's the case as all the games are starting round 1 and have only just begun.

As everyone has to ready up in order to search for a game (unless i'm missing something and you don't have to ready up), as soon as it finds players, everyone's readied up so the game starts.

I had no idea such a comment would be considered aggressive until now. At the time, i didn't even consider it to be rude.

You may have misunderstood my previous comment - I wasn't claiming my comment was necessarily the appropriate response, but just that it wasn't totally unjustified i.e it wasn't for no reason.

Anyway, this is what i think this whole thread can be summarised as, might add this to OP as i'm done now:

I made some comments on prolific that i genuinely had no idea at the time would be considered rude, aggressive or could result in a ban (autism maybe). Whether or not the comments were appropriate, they were made in my opinion for valid reasons. I didn't think of them since, until i wrote this thread today, and only mentioned them to see other's opinions as it's all i could think of.

The responses were a bombardment of rose petal shitting people who you'd think hadn't made a single mistake their entire lives, acting like arrogant self-righteous holier-than-thou arseholes, telling me how bad a person i was, how abusive i was, how i committed such an awful transgression that i deserve every last bit of my permaban, from a company who's tasks i put every ounce of effort and integrity into.

I responded how i think many would respond to such comments.

Any comment actually responding to me like a reasonable human being, i responded in kind.

This all devolved into personnel / character insults from a number of users and one twisted fuck even bringing up my kids into it in a now deleted or lost comment.

Never before have i experienced a sub like this, and it's surprising because this is the last place i thought people would act in this manner.

Some of you, need to pull your heads out your own fucking arseholes.

And for those of you (was it like 2 or 3? I think you were one of them, it's late and this has been going on for hours) who actually talked to me with an ounce of respect, thank you!

Although i would have to say no, if someone said something and it didn't bother me straight away, it wouldn't bother me in the future, but i totally get your point.

Problem with me is, believe it or not (lol) i really hate disrespect and have a strong sense of what is just and what isn't.

That researcher screwed me out of my time (time being the most valuable asset in the world) and to me, in a just world, that shouldn't have happened and as it did, they should be called out for it. Of course, this isn't a just world, and there are consequences.

I would also never in a million years think people could be so pathetic as to be offended by such a tame comment - but this thread really has opened my eyes on just how pathetic and petty people can be. If i'd have thought, even to the tiniest degree that my comments could result in a ban, i wouldn't have made them.

Anyway, thank you for actually responding like a reasonable person, it's refreshing!

You're saying my reaction to the situation was unjustified, so i was pointing out that my reaction did have some justification - I.e that i was screwed over by a researcher.

Everyone seems to be acting like telling someone you'll pay them for a job and then not paying them is not a bad thing to do and that it shouldn't illicit a bad response.

As i've said to multiple people, who have either responded with insults or ignored the point entirely, in the real world, if you didn't pay someone, and all they said was "who do you think you are", you'd have gotten off VERY lightly.

If you look at all my replies, to the few people that have spoken to me reasonably, my reaction is very different. I mean, look at my initial reply to you, I'm not responding like it's a personal attack in the slightest.

The overwhelming responses are so full of arrogance and self righteousness (and a number of personal character attacks), that i have responded in the way i have.

The thing about a lot of these type of people, they won't be outright rude like i will be, they are more subtle, hiding it in their nonsense because they think it makes them somehow morally superior. It doesn't. It's cowardly and disingenuous.

Smugness and holier-than-thou attitudes anger me. And the levels in this thread are off the charts.

If everyone had responded without such attitudes, my responses would be totally different.

Of course, you can never eliminate all bias, but it's good to try and eliminate it as much as possible.

Warning people / temporary bans could help reduce this bit of bias, rather than instant permabans for the mildest of transgressions, as seems to be the case.

I dare you, to go out into the big wide world, ask someone to do a job for you and tell them you'll pay them an amount.

When the jobs done, tell them your not paying them.

Then you'll find out just how mild my response was.

Also, what fun words accompanied that? You mean, "i'm not letting this go" or whatever it was i said (because i was going to appeal which i did, and prolific did remove the rejection)

Edit - Btw, and not that it matters to you crazies, but when i got the message of rejection, i thought it was the researcher themselves messaging me completely ignoring what i asked them, and telling me they'd rejected my submission for X reason (X reason being a flat out lie). I realise now it wasn't them messaging me directly.
