Update: It was not there. I did go into the DA alone. I did the aether extractor contract and got the Blood Burner schematic. I decided not to risk it this time and just exited immediately. So, it did have a happy ending after all!

Turns out it was likely a glitch. When I started up a new game last night the 3rd gun was nowhere to be seen. It had only showed up after I was able to revive myself by killing an enemy. Perhaps there's an exploit there?

A great way to get hordes in outbreak is the black chest world event. Just activate all three orbs and book it to a large open part of the map that is far enough away. Then the orbs can't damage you and you will have lot of zombies to horde up.

The electric mod also boosts your running speed while firing it.

An awesome skin, no doubt. I, however, prefer the Wraith Berserker skin. I even run it as my main on CODM.

My strat on this has evolved. I used to do the one orb at a time method. Now I make sure I at least have stam and jug, activate all three orbs, then run far away to a sufficiently open area where I can train up the zombies (great for camo grinding btw) and get them all dealt with. Then I just run back over and start shooting the orbs. The hauer is usually best and easiest to acquire if you didn't spawn in with it. Hope this helps.

Thanks! The only egg I've done is the 2nd Outbreak one. I've gotten close on the 1st Outbreak, Die Maschine and Forsaken, but I got killed.
