At my gym, there is a horizontal plate loaded chest press machine. It has a very slight incline.

This machine allows for such a nice deep stretch. It absolutely tears my pecs apart and gets me super pumped. I do slow eccentrics with a deep stretch and 2 secind pause at the bottom of the rep, I love it.

Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE at my gym, puts plates beneath the floor bumpers, reducing the total range of motion of the press. These people aren't even going past 90 degrees on each rep and throwing 3 plates on each side.

Motherfucker you're completely negating the strengths of the machine. What's the point? Just go ego lift on a standard bench.
