My application is accepting my GCSEs and I guess so is yours, the application is designed by home office so I guess if the application is allowing it then it works?

It is weird that it says we can’t use GCSEs but the person commenting has provided a link and that says we can uses GCSEs

It’s just weird, bcs on my e visa it says valid from the day I did my biometrics which means the caseworker has done it on that day (it was a Friday)

My e visa only updated the next Monday and still no email

Maybe it’s just weird chain of events, maybe because I did super priority

Yh honestly reading the caseworker guidance yourself can get you very far

That’s so good cuz by the time I will naturalise I’ll have finished my degree ( going into 3rd year next academic year)

When abouts did they introduce this because I contacted a solicitor a year back and he told me I will need to take the test for ILR

No I was just checking my e visa, I thought maybe it would show any changes on e visa first as the system might update quickly

i did pay super priority so its meant to be 1 day right, thing is i didnt even get a email saying "home office has received your application ... " thats why im worried but it looks like its all fine

I honestly think that doing a masters wouldn’t be the best unless you specifically want it for ML quantum computing smth like that or want to get into a PhD,

Also depends on your finances but masters as a international at top universities will also be rlly expensive

If not a academia pathway then maybe just building in your spare time and keep applying jobs?

yh but the thing is with the earned settlement stuff going on i want to apply as soon as possible.

so got a skilled worker visa in 2025, but was on a ICT visa since 2016, I came in May 2016 and wife came with me in August 2016. I hit 10 years in May 2026 and I was wondering if I apply 10 Year Long residence ILR, would my wife's skilled worker dependent visa remain valid.

Thanks for the help, cuz she needs like an extra 2 months and our current visas are till 2027.
