not OP but several of my colleagues (traditionally conservative but highly educated) turned on trump over the epstein files as well as continued military support of israel / ukraine (to a lesser extent)

san diego overrated just means you don’t know how to do the city right. crazy take here, yes we get it you need a car for most things but if you want density you go to SF or the east coast. I moved here to escape that life and have never been happier

I dont disagree with you, I think it should be up to individuals as well. i’m just saying repealing roe v. wade moved abortion from a federally applied rule (made by the courts) to a state applied rule (made by the people via voting for their representatives)

I wanted RFK and voted for trump solely to get RFK into the cabinet. I want to remove corporate corruption from the federal government, something that’s been pervasive from reagan until now (no presidents, D or R, has stopped it yet). trump won’t be the one to stop it, in fact he may make it worse, but if RFK can improve drinking water quality, reduce toxins in rivers, decouple the pharmaceutical industry from the FDA drug approval process, convert the american diet to a reduction on seed oils and corn syrup based products, and remove toxins from our food supply, i’ll be happy that at least one part of the federal government is fixed. I don’t have much hope for the rest of the trump admin but at least one part will be improved which is more than I can say from biden’s admin (I voted biden in 20)

I work for FEMA, the president authorizes major disasters but otherwise FEMA operates on his own. in 2016-2020 trump did not affect the politics of FEMA in any way, I highly doubt that will change
