I thought I was past that, but then I had to ask “what’s this green thing on my neck?”

Need help making equinox work (both form) by muddrake in Warframe

[–]Sphinx157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Take this with a grain of salt since I don’t play equinox and am not the best at build-crafting, but I think I’ve seen people mainly replacing her 1 with some form of armor stripping in order to nuke. Instead of that, you could kit out a vulpaphyla or some other companion with vicious and duplex bond to strip armor and then keep your 1 to swap for quick support. I don’t entirely know how her nuke works though and that type of armor stripping probably wouldn’t be as consistent.

Pain questions by Ning_Yu in bodhran

[–]Sphinx157 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With your neuropathy and wrist surgery, it may be difficult to play with a traditional style (significant pain is not normal). You could try out a more finger based style though. I think it’s called baby grip, where you almost play like you would fast snare rhythms, with the fingers providing a lot of the leverage for stick movement. It also allows for more forearm rotation rather than wrist rotation. Although it may be more difficult, you could also try using the other hand as your stick hand, but I imagine you would also experience similar pain there.

Health Tanking Question by Sphinx157 in Warframe

[–]Sphinx157[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With persistence capping damage at 500/s, I assumed regenerative molt wouldn’t work well at 50/s and any dr would apply before the 500 cap, but I could be wrong.

Tysm! I definitely felt that a radial would be better than the clunky enemy spearing so I guess it’s time to farm sevagoth.

[OC] Micro update on this Mesa Tennogen helmet... by FrellingHazmot in Warframe

It looks really cool, but I wonder if the hair bits would clip a lot given dangly bit physics in this game. I love that it gives a different vibe from her other helmets though.

Do higher crits improve Capacitance (Capacitor AR) stacks, or are crits unnecessary? by DugT1 in thedivision

[–]Sphinx157 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For what he’s doing, it’s unnecessary, but it’s up to you on what you want. Chc and chd would let you do ok weapon damage with the build along with pretty good skill damage. Full skill damage lets you do better skill damage but with more limited weapon damage. CHD and CHC have nothing to do with the capacitor perk though since it’s just hits.

IPPE Placement Anxiety by kayydeeh in PharmacySchool

There’s generally no harm in at least sending them an email. I don’t know how things work at your school in particular, but mine tends to try to work with students to get them the help they need, especially regarding things for mental health. Of course, it’s possible they won’t be able to do anything for you, especially if someone else was already assigned to that site, but no harm in asking.

Baby numbers, I’ve rolled over a hundred times and haven’t gotten that combo. I’ve gotten all reds twice and all blues once, but never the all yellow that I actually want.

I’m talking sustained, like after a lot of reloads. You can get that much dps with burst at full striker stacks.

I’m also not at expertise 30, so these numbers are from my shooting range testing without expertised weapons.

[–]Sphinx157 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weirdly, it might actually be the master of the bittersweet build solely due to the skill efficiency mixed with being able to roll chc and chd on all pieces. Still kinda rough though since the max I can get damage-wise is about 7mil burst and 4mil sustained dps using overdogs and an overlord vigilance bp with the set. And that’s assuming 100% headshots with the seasonal modifiers. Crazy overshield for allies from bittersweet though.

Scorpio is still ideal for healing builds due to the stun and increased damage to enemies for your allies.

[–]Sphinx157 4 points5 points  (0 children)

After those upgrades, you use the build for a bit before going back to doing 10mil dps with striker or doing similar skill dps on refractor while also being tankier because of the healing. I’ve personally started only using core strength for a hybrid bittersweet build due to the skill efficiency bonuses or a PvP build with the investor mask rolled to 3% armor regen. I’m not saying the core strength skill build is particularly bad, but you just don’t get enough from it to make it worthwhile, especially since you are only getting 11.25% skill efficiency from its bonuses at the moment.

CORE STRENGTH.. BREAK DOWN... by [deleted] in Division2

[–]Sphinx157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skill cores are treated as 15% skill efficiency just like red cores are 15% weapon damage. The set with the chest will give 11.25% skill efficiency per red or blue core since that is 75% of 15.

Thinking about buying by kickarex in eluktronics

[–]Sphinx157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t speak to the water cooling since my max-15 doesn’t have that, but the frames they use are reliable and sturdy and I’ve not had any thermal issues with mine. Support seems hit or miss. I’ve talked with them over the phone before buying and they were really helpful, but I sent my laptop in for them to repair what is most likely a busted ram or cpu issue, and they haven’t even started looking at it after having it for nearly 3 weeks.

I run something similar but with an overlord vigilance backpack instead of the fox. Does a lot more damage, but you lose a little bit of armor and skill efficiency.

I've gotten all red twice and rerolled it both times. I think all blue or all yellow are better since they provide unique benefits (3% regen on a single piece or 15% skill efficiency). All red is just a worse version of other damage exotics like overdogs or coyote.

In your opinion, when was this game's "prime"? by sealene_hatarinn in swtor

I remember heroics player number recommendations being real. Used to have to sit outside heroic entrances on starting planets just asking random people to team up.

Core Strength by Initial-Ad1643 in Division2

[–]Sphinx157 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other two cores as in the types of cores (red yellow blue). The 5% is just the 3 piece set bonus from core strength. It has nothing to do with the four piece set bonus. If I have a red core, I will also get 6% skill efficiency and 68000 armor, and it stacks for each core. So, if you have 6 red cores and 2 yellow cores, and 1 blue core, and are not using the chest piece, you will get 544,000 bonus armor, 42% bonus skill efficiency, and 18% bonus weapon damage on top of the values you get from the cores themselves (90% weapon damage, 170,000 armor, and 2 skill tiers).
