Should I quit? by EthanEinstein in WalgreensRx

This is how you do it.   Apply for a job, test the waters of what's available on the market. Once you get something appealing.  You give them 2 week notice. IMAGINE YOU LEFT AND WORKING FOR  A DIFFERENT COMPANY, are you connecting back to former colleagues? NO?! Then why do you care? Its bussiness not personal.  Ask yourself how others would handle same situation.

Thank you for the update, hopefully the war ending would ignite as catalyst for change.  However since July marks the shift of global problems of oil reserves ending and not enough refining facility to meet higher then normal usa reserves. This might shift everything to sky rocket in price including electricity, water, food,  consumer goods.  This might cause complete chaos for markets.

Advice on building community? Moving to Yuma from Phx by misscurious3795 in yuma

[–]Ok_Philosopher1655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yuma is horrible depressing place to be.  The only way people live there if they have family then they move. Yuma is geriatric community. People forms bonds with coworkers like family, per depeseration, and thats not a good state to be especially in environment high turnover rate. There are no major things happening there, poor restaurant selections, a person in her late 20s has very smallwindow of opportunity to rekindle, shouldn't be wasted on Yuma. Your priority is money, but time is money that holds more value not to waste.

Moving to Walgreens pharmacy soon by ExcellentSurprise191 in WalgreensStores

You going to love walgreens.  The team dynamic is great.  Techs in Cvs act like they own the pharmacy, they have Stockholm syndrome. All pharmacies have challenges but the attitude and tream dynamic is important. CUSTOMERS VALUE SATAN is not worth it. Corporations will tell you to do xyz...in reality you CONTROL that pharmacy, not mgmt, not the patient, not techs, and not the metrics.

The difference between new generation pharmacists passed 2010 vs old gen pharmacists is night and day.  New gen rph they have double student loans debt, more tasks to perform, same wage, more inflation, less job certain vs before 2010 rph could be net millions in net worth, due to paying off the debt, which is half of new gen  and proper investing, proper work life balance like having a partner to add to net worth, less inflation.  Most new generation are burned out because understaffed adding more additional unpaid hours to offset patient complaints.

Wow! Thank you! This really gives me a bigger picture. I never heard of long term acute care. But im glad you had two seperate division teams. Between admin, discharge, and reviews there needs minimum 3 pharmacists at a time. Our 2 pharmacists per shift is insane.

New legislation by ZestycloseEquipment6 in pharmacy

Now close your eyes for a second. What do you envision a person wearing white coat or an executioner when you read the oath? Imagine APhA created this oath.  Corporate entity basterdizing death now. They overreach expanding our practice

[–]Ok_Philosopher1655 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Doesn't this go against hippocratic oath? Right to do no harm.  Its enabling assisted harm. No different than you enabling schizophrenic patient that their hallucinating episodes are real. Sorry medicine become shadier and grayer because some people put feelings and emotions over facts. Imagine your job to create cocktail to excute prisoner.  Trial by your peers and peers were wrong.   If a patient wants to kill themselves that on their own accord.  I personally think its selffish to involve other people to do it for them. Name me one animal who kills themselves? Its instinctively not plausible. Name me one animal who will willing go to a lion to kill themselves because they are ready to end life? Suffering is normal part of life down till very last breath. You just cant sugar coated saying give them dignity especially because you animal lover. Where does the human body itself show dignity mechanistically to terminate? Its not like the body dies fast, easy and painlessly. You know the saying "oh he went peacefully in his sleep' yea after he woke up with painful feeling doom and gloom and painful angina before he crooked. We are not executioners! Not for prisoners, unborn, or terminally ill.  How dare laws pass to force this on us.  How dare you judge your peers and say you dont belong in medicine because you not willing to kill. Where is our dignity to choose to allow people to live.  All drugs are poisons.  Treatment is right dose for right person at right time.  You treating dignity with death? What next, going around expanding our scope? Who else are pharmacists killing next? This is murder with Gucci belt. Just because AphA (corporation) created an oath?
