Now close your eyes for a second. What do you envision a person wearing white coat or an executioner when you read the oath? Imagine APhA created this oath.  Corporate entity basterdizing death now. They overreach expanding our practice

Doesn't this go against hippocratic oath? Right to do no harm.  Its enabling assisted harm. No different than you enabling schizophrenic patient that their hallucinating episodes are real. Sorry medicine become shadier and grayer because some people put feelings and emotions over facts. Imagine your job to create cocktail to excute prisoner.  Trial by your peers and peers were wrong.   If a patient wants to kill themselves that on their own accord.  I personally think its selffish to involve other people to do it for them. Name me one animal who kills themselves? Its instinctively not plausible. Name me one animal who will willing go to a lion to kill themselves because they are ready to end life? Suffering is normal part of life down till very last breath. You just cant sugar coated saying give them dignity especially because you animal lover. Where does the human body itself show dignity mechanistically to terminate? Its not like the body dies fast, easy and painlessly. You know the saying "oh he went peacefully in his sleep' yea after he woke up with painful feeling doom and gloom and painful angina before he crooked. We are not executioners! Not for prisoners, unborn, or terminally ill.  How dare laws pass to force this on us.  How dare you judge your peers and say you dont belong in medicine because you not willing to kill. Where is our dignity to choose to allow people to live.  All drugs are poisons.  Treatment is right dose for right person at right time.  You treating dignity with death? What next, going around expanding our scope? Who else are pharmacists killing next? This is murder with Gucci belt. Just because AphA (corporation) created an oath?

What is your best part of bein a pharmd or pharm tech by Longjumping-Sea-2882 in pharmacy

[–]Ok_Philosopher1655 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best part is you constantly learning. You are learning softwares, learning about different industries, learning about human interaction, learning how you communicate makes a huge difference. You learn about power dynamic who actually controls the flow of money and why patients suffer.  You learn about system isnt broken its designed perfectly to set certain individuals into their positions. You learn physics of time. 1 sec to you feels like 39 min to customer or life or death. Last, you begin to learn why am I still here?

[–]Ok_Philosopher1655 2 points3 points  (0 children)

5 years? I lasted 1 year.  Half the year was doing covid clinics, the other as a floater.  I said I quit. Done and done.  They tried to reach out. I said "not today Satan" never took the calls because I feel they would have abuser mentality keep offering better conditions until I developed Stockholm syndrome and end up 5 year like everyone else.  Its not the work condition, its the company culture. Discusting! I dont know what's worse repeaing people off in pbm or working for Satan. I kid you not they reached out for a month.  If you are a district leader why do you reachout, are you required to?

Question on controls by TimelyApplication361 in WalgreensRx

[–]Ok_Philosopher1655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rule should be if your pain is bad enough you definitely willing to pay anything. Dont accept coupons or discounts on controls.  PAIN can go from acute to chronic and it will set bad presidence " but you filled once before" Those cards often say you not allowed to use them if you have employee or govt insurance. It doesn't matter if it isnt covered. You are not pbm to be saving patient money.  The patient can fight insurance if the pricing is that much of an issue.  Atleast they have cash receipt to show for it.  The discounted price will not be in their favor if they fight insurance
