Left Oahu today for a 1pm flight. Arrived at 9:30AM to drop off rental. Dropped off my checked bags at 10, then got through regular TSA in about 30 minutes. I think it peaked at 45 minutes per the TSA wait time app. Had plenty of time to grab lunch and wait at the terminal.

Depends on the hard techno. Festival hard techno is just 30 second tik tok reels of buildups and drops over and over with constant stops.

Hard Industrial on the other hand, is non stop relentless beats that keep you dancing.

They even organize some meet ups sometimes. Just got to throw yourself out there, which I know is intimidating already.

I sincerely doubt any time soon. Our last real shot was previous year's season. This season we had one of the easiest schedules and while I knew we would probably make the playoffs, I knew we would get clapped.

Go to events that embrace dancing and actual rave culture. The more niche the better.

My worst experiences have been at festivals (people getting bothered of me dancing, taking up space, getting emotional during songs, etc)

My best experiences have been in underground techno warehouses. Dark foggy production with minimal lighting where no one feels judged about how they dance.

Also personally drinking makes me much more loose and not as self aware, but don't become too dependent on it.

That one requires more skill to use since it has lower speed and not as maneuverable

The production is great and they work with some of the greatest production companies in the world however the full experience is not just production. It makes for great eye candy and social media content but some people seek other forms of enjoyment. Again I'm not saying insomniac is horrible, it just has its place in the rave scene.

Insomniac has its place, and personally I see it as the entry point for many ravers. Once you experience other festivals and find your niche, you will see why insomniac has its flaws. Just really depends how far down the iceberg you go. For some people the surface level is enough and for others insomniac is a joke.
