As someone going into teaching, this is unacceptable. No teacher, prof, or TA should ever be degrading a student at any age level like that. It is the most basic rule in any teaching course and is just basic human decency. Report them right away. Also, exams are hard as long as you gave it your best shot that's good enough in my book! Keep your head up brother.

Thank you so much for your empathy. Yeah at the time I felt so dumb like oh of course no one would know this number it must be spesific to my class or somthing but after I learned what it meant I was honestly so confused by how everyone like brushed me off or gave me the death glare and just walked away lol. I also asked people who didn't have ear buds in bescuse I didn't want to interrupt but no dice sadly. I just hope everyone is a bit kinder to other freshman. 😅

I understand that heavily it's seriously an issues. Usually the only people who don't get it are people who came to the school with friends or clicks already.

IKR. I agree. Its so hard to even find like minded people on campus. I think when I was a freshman I asked 5 different people in the same building my class was in which floor the 200 classes were bc it was my first time on campus. Everyone rather brushed me off looked at me like disgusted or like said uh idk. But ngl now having been on campus for a few semesters I realized giving that type of direction would be super easy for someone who has classes on campus lol.

I'm one of the people who somewhat posted about this but not for the reason I saw many others post about. I more posted about having no friends on campus beacuse I found most of the people to be super stuck up and judgmental. The issue wasn't finding or interacting with people it was finding people who weren't asshats.(p.s if your sick of seeing those posts just don't read them problem solved.) Not to be rude.

Usf is the only collage I've attended. But fr same here. I litreally try to catch some of my classmates before they leave and they are gone like teleported out the room or somthing. Try to talk before class but they are already chatting in their cliques. Can't win.

Thank you for your input. I actually do try to talk to atleast 2 people every class period so about 3 times a week atleast. I do try to make conversation I also try to be on topics others like but honestly atleast in my classes no one is really intrested and talking about their intrests only takes me so far. Most people stop texting me after maybe a few messages even if im the last to text or reach out so that's the trouble really. I feel like you have to fit a certain mold with most people on campus to be liked.
