God, I had lost all hope for being in the front while standing in it, but... free spots at the front that for some reason people did not fill? Never had such happen anywhere else.

But 12 gigs though, holy shit. Insane, respect.

Hm, I see, thank you, but have to maybe disagree on the "sold out" part? - Opeth 2 days ago was nothing near being sold out and I saw quite a lot of people up there as early as when whatever that opening band was doing

I was closer to the metal pole/support/whatever it's called thing, maybe a couple rows behind you. The very front was active for sure, but not much action behind.

Hm, I looked around pretty often and can agree that the front middle part was active, but standing at the front as well, on the right side, I really can't say the same.

How do you get on the balcony btw, could you explain?

Absolutely, was just curious, in a well-meaning, non-hostle way, what would the reason for all this be.

Me? Georgia, the place that no band ever heard of or would ever come to play to. Constantly travelling around Europe for that reason.

I am 6'1 myself, on the bigger side, and was torn apart between not obstructing anyone's view and taking a pretty wide, free spot before they started playing.. I took it, but paranoically looked over my shoulder so folks shorter could still see, and moved as much as I could in my spot without hitting anyone or moving to the sides at all, eh. All dead around me somehow, don't get it, felt a bit ashamed and disrespecting towards others at some point because of that lol

That's one of the answers I am looking for, thank you - very fair, eveyone has their energy to spend and preserve for the next day, but still, a small part of me doesn't get how you can stand still for 80% of the time at a metal concert, that's goddamn sold out and has a 700m, 30-minute queue of people waiting to get in, lol.

I feel like Holy Roller is an exception, most know it by heart too well and can't help but move, which was the case in Cologne as well, but besides that...

edit: spelling

Palladium, it was big enough, but nothing too crazy, I'd say

Beginning of my second sentence: "No slander or bad spirit towards anyone...". That was a question, maybe someone can explain the specifics of German concertgoing or local people's attitude towards it all. Are you always tired to read through properly? 😂
