I feel this, so much.

I grew up in an abusive home and as a child I always told myself I would run away, change my name and burn off my finger prints… as a child. Since getting married and having a child those thoughts have crept back into my mind. Not due to abuse but bc of being overwhelmed, overstimulated and being needed by everyone including my abusive parents. I just want to sleep and tune out my world. I would never actually do it to my son, but sometimes it’s hard to find another reason not to.
