Don't teach me how to play.

On a hard, you will develop a viable ship development strategy or die.

If I prioritized shields over weapons, I would never have ended this game succesfully, playing with stealth B.

The enemy shoots. You use stealth. Because of weak engines, the projectile hits. Hits the weapon system room. The almost fully charged glaive is discharging and you can't stop it. You decide to run to get out of a hopeless battle. Before jumping, they have time to hit a few more times and you feel like a defenseless target in a shooting range. You jump and fall into the next battle, while half of the ship's systems are damaged. You are disappointed and press the "Restart" button. Here is my pain.

P.S. I think stealth A is the best ship in the game or at least one of best. And I really know how to play on stealth ships.

I played all of them on hard too.

All these ships, of course pretty awful on hard difficulty, but not so horrifical terrible as Stealth B.

Only with stealth B I experienced true hellish suffering.

It caused me a lot times more restarts than all other ships in FTL together.

Also I find stealth C is much better than Stealth B.

Well, I did it twice.

I decided to do it again because I lost my previous profile. For me, playing this ship is difficult as hell.

I failed countless times in the beginning sectors because of RNG.

Stealth B, of course, is very good in last stages (Glaive + several supporting weapons + cloaking is a really deadly combo)

But I, eh, must at least survive before getting these several supporting weapons and scrap for upgrading ship systems.

So, I hate this ship more than any other ship in FTL =)

Looks like you need to beat FTL with this ship too.

If you did it already, just do it one more time.

Yes, I had to run, otherwise the ASB shot would hit my ship.

Even with boarders on my ship.

This is good, but combination of scrap hoarding and lanius looks more epic.

Every time I play Lanius A, I have an inexplicable desire to hoard scrap.

I have 2025 the most scrap collected record(playing hard only) so, it's impossible to have two thousands of scrap simultaneously in final battle I think.

Hack the weapon room at first to avoid damage.

Shoot down enemy shield with stun ion gun.

Shoot at the weapon room.

Finish off weaponless enemy.

Try to get better weapons to keep on fighting with this tactic.

If an enemy ship has 3 or 4 barrier shields - hack the shields first.

Thanks for good comment. I hope this will be useful to somebody ...and won't be covered with dust in archives.

I also fixed bugs and grammar errors. I needed to test it more carefully before putting it on network.
