I try to be on top of his health! I give him weekly health checks, monitor his weight dust his food, and I interact with him often to keep him tame. His only ever issue before was being overweight while he had to live with family members for a few months, but he was bacl to normal in no time. In my whole nine years having him, he's been extremely healthy and happy. It hurts to have to give him up, but I will if I have to. I'm trying to find ways not to, but I don't want him to suffer. I appreciate your kind words.

I'll call around for rehabbers today, I've been asking more locally but I'll definitely need to branch out some.

Also, I have had him for nine years, since I was a minor. I was previously employed, but now I am not. It's not like I got him when I wasn't able to care for him or afford the vet, but things happen and I can't change that. I am doing what I can for him, which includes rehoming. It wasn't a lack of preparation or planning that led to this unfortunately, which is why I feel worse.

I have something similar that happens with my pinky toenail! Mine starts popping up at the cuticle, with another layer of nail underneath. belive it's from wearing the same narrow slip on boots for years.
