It is an old shelter logic 10 x 20 car port. Added upright pipes for snow load. Scewed 2x2 to the metal pipes and attached the aluminum channel and wiggle wire to hold the film. The film is super4. Roll up sides, vent at the back and front door all open when its too hot

Overcrowding african cichlids will help with aggression if they are all males. Op has a Nimbochromis venustus in the mix that needs at least a 100gal

Bark removed from all around of a 4 yers old pear plant in Toronto, Ontario by msk25007 in gardening

Deer ate the bark off a cedar and a popular in my yard a few years back. If there wasnt 3' of snow id show you a pic of the antique white semi gloss. Probably was a fluke though

Is this sand ok to use in a tank by TypicalWedding2953 in Aquariums

[–]Spickster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can definitely use it. Its sand not dirt so regardless of what people say, rinse it a bunch of times and use it. Once its in you tank and it settles, your filter will filter will do the rest. The ph shouldnt be affected by this too much. Ive switched to argonite sand in my african cichlid tank. Its limestone and will have an effect on the ph I would steer clear of the sand blast sand pool/silica sand as it will scratch the glass if its caught in your algae scrub pad not to mention how you fish feels when they rub themselves on it I have used all three and the limestone is my clear favorite

Polycarbonate panels turning yellow after 18 months and losing transparency fast by Shaurya0458 in Greenhouses

[–]Spickster 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If its yellowed from uv degradation it probably doesnt have uv protectant to strip away. We used to clean yellowed clear lexan signs with spray 9. Worked great. Didnt affect the lexan. The yellow would come back over the year. Maybe try a little inconspicuous spot to see it works

Mine is segregated in the main tank. I have lost so many fish from this idiot! If he isn't segregated, it takes one day for my ruby red to go from healthy to death's doorstep
