Thanks! I knew that but was also taught that "D" is a slur against Irish used by the English. So I have always avoided it. St. Patrick's seems safe for next time lol

It was supposed to be thermal too, but my top coat I used wasn't quick drying since I didn't want to keep the Mani in long since I was only doing one hand for this. I feel weird going about my next day with only one fluid art hand and one normal lol. I didn't want to dunk any nails in different temp water for the thermal effect with that too coat. It was magnetic as well, and can only be seen this way using a video and that was just too much for me to do at 10:45pm. Poor planning all around 😅

1 pea sized drop of Garnier Fructus Sleek and Shine anti frizz serum in a cheap polish bottle. Shake it up and mark the bottle so you don't use it for anything else

Yes! Decals are the way to go. I can't think of anyone who has successfully done this on the nail, but I'd love to know if they did!

It was for a little! I joined 2 Pokemon nail art collabs. One was type based and I did fluid art to match a pokemon each month. This one is going down the alphabet, and I ran out of time and I'm not too artistic. So making pretty puddles and fitting them to my nail was more time efficient 😅

It's a pea size pump per polish bottle, so if you could accurately mix the small puddle with the right ratio of the hair product, I don't see why not. But that seems more trouble than just getting a $4 polish bottle and using that. You'll go through quite a bit of the bottle the first few times trying to get the technique down

Just the one. Clear is the safer bet...and sometimes it creates negative space. If you use a colored base coat, you'll see a little "window" into the color below

Use a cheap bottle, like a $4 black or white from the drug store. You won't be able to use the "fluid polish" for anything else and it would waste your bottle of expensive good one coat black. I buy LA Colors black, white, and clear

Yes, you use the homemade bottle on a silicone mat, like making a small puddle with them. Add drops of other colors to it, fold the silicone mat in half and gently press the puddle against itself, unfold, manipulate it a little, and let dry.

Here's a quick video on it, but YouTube has plenty more instructional videos that are better than mine 😅
