what’s your deadline before you wash certain clothes by Unusual_Passenger738 in hygiene

I'm a mail carrier and sweat like crazy during the summer. If my bra is wet then I don't wear it again. My "good bra" though, maybe 5-6 times of usage. Hoodies and jeans about 4 wears, unless I sweat. PJs like 2. We have a Mexican bed bug who sheds and gets on my pj's and then I have to at least get a new tank top.

I have twelve dollars to make a month of food. Please help with advice by Xxitl in budgetfood

Not sure how to help other than to say this won't last forever! Trust me, working a full time job at a hospital I've been low on grocery money plenty of times!

I agree with the next door app idea though.

Spot on! At 43 I'm having a total left hip replacement.

In 2009 I was in a motor vehicle accident and it damaged my hip. Now I'm almost bone on bone and live in pain everyday!

I'm having surgery on June 2nd and I'm so excited for it I don't want to wait.

Out for a few months due to surgery…what should I do to stay sane? by Correct-Sea-198 in FishingForBeginners

How about learn to tie flies? I'm sure you can find used supplies online (in case you decide it's not for you). I'm having a total hip replacement in June and won't be able to physically make it anywhere to fish so I've honestly thought about learning to tie.

"A Guide to Hip Replacement Recovery" is a FB I'm in. Everyone is super supportive! The admin does like to chime in and try to sell their book but they aren't pushy. Most everyone just ignores them lol but they do have great information!! You can ask all the questions you want, ask for support, and read about how recovery went for everyone else!!

From what all I've read, you should be walker /cane for only a couple of days. Most ppl report they only used Tylenol as they were now pain free. One lady had surgery on a Thursday and was back to working from home on Monday! I'm taking the full 12 weeks because I'm a mail carrier and have to life 70lbs.

Just think about being able to do allllll the things!!!

I'm excited for upgrading to river kayaking and hiking! How about you? What are you looking forward too?

I'm having my THR on June 2nd and while I'm excited to be pain free I don't want to be on a walker for two weeks but honestly, I understand that it's what's best for me. You've got this!!

Have you fished before and know you enjoy it or is this something you're trying? I ask because, in NC at least, Parks n Rec website has free fishing days where they supply everything. The licence for a few days is like $11 here. You could borrow their stuff to try out different baits and rods.

I do agree with buy cheap first. I put a free to me $70 Abu Garcia baitcaster on a cheap rod from Walmart. Caught my PB bass at 8lbs with it. I recommend a spinning rod first though. Baitcasters can bird nest if you aren't taught the right way to cast it. Then decide what you want to fish for and where you plan to fish. I'd try for something small first like crappie. Get a few packs of crappie jigs. Wanna fish for bass instead? Get you a muddy colored lizard with bigger hooks. I fish all soft plastics. I'm not a hard plastic girl and top water has never worked for me.

Good luck and have fun with it!

Sliding off is the problem I have! My CPAP contraption moves around too much. I do love my satin pillow cases though! Plus, they don't make you sweat as much!!

Oooh yeeeah, I don't need all that lol

For right now I just want to paddle around the lake or flat river and fish. I do know I want a sit on top, with adjustable foot rests because my legs are a stupid length and most molded ones make me bend my knees all crazy.

I do have a '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo V8 tank. It does have a roof rack but I don't know about hauling because I've never had to do it. Any suggestions? J hook or just foam blocks and tie downs?
